Services
The Animal Hospital of Colorado Springs has been a part of the Colorado Springs community for many years. We first opened our doors in 1980, and in 2007 we changed our name and moved to our current building. Our team is committed to customer satisfaction as well as to providing state-of-the-art care for your pets.
John Boley, DVM graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. After graduation, Dr. Boley practiced in a nine doctor hospital in the Chicago area for two years and in the Kansas City area for five years. In 2002, he moved to Colorado Springs and purchased Columbine Animal Clinic.
At the Animal Hospital of Colorado Springs, our veterinary staff is the best! We are pleased to introduce you to our highly-qualified and deeply compassionate veterinary team. She began working in veterinary hospitals in 2001 after completing the veterinary assistant course through Pima Medical Institute, where she obtained her Veterinary Assistant Certification.
At the Animal Hospital of Colorado Springs, we provide complete life stage preventive care for your furry family member. We recommend annual pet exams for adult pets and biannual visits for senior pets, who are over the age of seven. Pet preventative care can alert us to any underlying medical conditions your loyal companion may be suffering from.
At Animal Hospital of Colorado Springs, we know that one size does not fit all when it comes to veterinary medicine. That's why we've dedicated ourselves to providing personalized pet care, especially when it comes to cat and dog vaccinations. Your pet's vaccination requirements will vary depending upon a number of factors including their species, age, activity level, health status, frequency of travel, likelihood of disease exposure, etc.

I’m so impressed with the staff and care of this office. I’m pretty sure my cat Tommy Lee has a crush on the tech, as he behaves well for her and acts like a sweet heart. That just reassures me that she is great at what she does and the staff is treating my cat in the best manner possible. Dr. Boley is so kind and honest about the treatment options as well. I will always bring my animals to this office.

Dr. John Boley and The Animal Hospital has cared for all our dogs and cats and one hamster for over 15 years and we will continue to seek their services for as long as they turn on the lights. What continues to impress us is the way everyone handles and interacts with our dogs; from well visits to critical care, our dogs are handled with care, empathy and respect.

We have seen Dr. Boley and Dr. Rathmill for many years now with many different dogs and cats. They are honest, professional and well educated. The office is always clean, they are on time with appointments and we highly recommend them.

Arrogant, unprofessional, demeans clients. Accusatory, and Threatening behavior .Does not like questions to be asked. I have read another review on here and agree with the behavior I have seen expressed. Never had an issue with any Vet ,until I met John Boley DVM who is the owner of this practice. This vet speaks to you in authoratative manner and will encroach in your personal space to show his authority. He will distort facts to hide behind his unprofessional actions.

Dr John Boley is by far the worst vet I've ever dealt with. Bad bedside manner, bad professionalism, just bad all the way around. If you want a good vet, go somewhere else or to another doctor! Make sure you red the reviews before you go here!!!

First visit with our new rescued dog, Junebug. Jamie and Dr. Boley were very friendly with both my husband and our dog. A great atmosphere and professionalism. We will certainly be back for all of our veterinary needs!
