Services
In the early 1980s, Dr. Jeff Fowler joined the Wisemans and later purchased the practice from them. Sue Wiseman still brings her pets to see us. Dr. Melanie Marsden joined Dr. Fowler and eventually purchased PPVC when he retired. Dr. Fowler is still a regular face around our clinic and has come back to help out a few days a week.
We want to make sure that your pet is treated as a unique individual. We are in the process of putting together information detailing the characteristics of different breeds in order to help you better understand what that puppy you just got will need through its lifetime. This proven pain-relieving technology is good for acute situations like surgery or a broken bone as well as persistent issues such as arthritis.
While we love the puppies and kittens, our friendly and professional staff also enjoys working with more unique pets such as small mammals including bunnies, ferrets, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, sugar gliders and more. We have two doctors who treat domestic fowl such as ducks, turkeys, geese and chickens.
Sometimes we can manage your pets' vaccinations or an exam/observation by having them stay with us for the day. This risk assessment helps us determine which vaccinations your dog should receive based on your lifestyle. We take our clients' privacy very seriously. We do not store credit card information or other sensitive information in our computer system.
We're committed to helping you make responsible choices for your pet and providing preventative health care and health-related education. Clients can schedule appointments, refill medications, send pet selfies, view their pet records and access their loyalty rewards program directly through the PPVC app.

It’s been an adventure trying to find an exotics vet for my rat babies. This clinic hits the nail directly on the head! This is the only Vet I will ever see. We have been going here since the mid 90's. They provide compassionate and competent care. They are flexible with care needs and really work with you. I recently had a pet go over the rainbow bridge and words can not express the care I received from this staff!!

Showed up a half an hour before close because the nurses told me they had approval for medication for my chameleon. The only reason I needed more meds was they didn’t even fill it 1/4 of the way. So they tell me the doctor had given them approval but they didn’t ask the amounts needed to mix, so I’ve been sitting outside (because I had to walk the car is with the hubby) for an hour with my dog in the heat. They constantly ignored my until I finally asked what’s going on and they said they can’t reach the doctor now and they don’t know how long I’m supposed to wait.

Love this place! I’ve been bringing my girl, Tally, here for years and they always take such good care of her! Katie, the tech, is absolutely wonderful (and Tally LOVES her— which says a lot, as tally doesn’t like many people lol). My pup is my family and I always trust them to do a good job. Thanks guys!

They ripped my daughter off big time .They put down her 15 yr.old rat terrier.Charged way to much .And then talked her in to having new rat terrier puppy into a x-Ray fir some reason .They said you just lost your Mack ,You don’t want to lose your puppy too. They are the worst vet we ever been to.Horrible rip off .

Best vets & techs ever We have been taking our babies to Pikes Peak vet clinic for 40+ years when Dr. FOWLER owned the clinic. So glad to have him back. Dr. Marsden has done a great job transitioning. We love Dr Marsden. She's a special , compassionate vet. When we had to euthanize our Golden, Millie Dr. Marsden sat on the floor with us,… cried & gently let Millie go. What a super vet. Dr. Clevenger is super too..
