Dr. Daiga Rozensteine has been with Madison Street Animal Hospital since 2019. Born in Latvia, she knew by age five that she wanted to devote her life to animals and by ten was determined to become a veterinarian. While working at an animal shelter called Dzivnieku Draugs in Latvia, she helped establish a charity hospital for stray animals and pets of low-income families.

Preventative or general wellness care means a proactive approach to medicine. Ideally, problems are caught before they become more serious - and more expensive - and it frees you and your pet to spend your time doing what you really want to do: enjoy each other's company and unconditional love. At Madison Street Animal Hospital, we cherish the opportunity we have to nourish and care for pets over the course of a lifetime.

This saves time, money, and most importantly, you don't have to wait overnight for results-meaning your pet gets a diagnosis and needed treatment sooner.

There's no getting around it - surgery for our pets is always a little scary, even when the procedure is as simple as a spay or neuter. It's impossible not to worry about whether or not your best friend is ready and healthy enough for surgery, and, of course, there's anesthesia and recovery time to consider.
