Services
We are a full-service pet hospital designed to provide your pets with the best quality health care in an atmosphere that is as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Our appointments are scheduled for at least 30 minutes, which allows us the time and opportunity to delve into the individual needs of you and your pet.
Your dog or cat shouldn't have to wait to feel better. We can provide prompt comfort and relief for conditions that aren't serious enough for an emergency hospital, but are too pressing to wait for an appointment the next business day. Urgent care is appropriate for non-life threatening conditions that cannot wait, but do not require emergency treatment and hospitalization.
Veterinary house calls work well for pets who don't travel well due to anxiety or a medical condition. They're private and peaceful for those last quiet moments when saying good-bye to a beloved pet. A veterinary house call blends our commitment to exceptional veterinary care and old-fashioned service, brought to your door.
We are conveniently located just off Rainier Avenue, the popular commuting route between downtown Seattle and the Seward Park, Mt. Baker, Beacon Hill, Columbia City, Leschi, Madrona, Hillman City, and Rainier Beach neighborhoods. Capitol Hill, Madison Park, the Central District, Mercer Island, and West Seattle are also nearby.
Giving back to our community and our world are part of our mission and our responsibility. One way we've chosen to give back to our community is by providing regular pet owner education seminars free-of-charge for clients. Atlantic Veterinary Hospital also supports groups who work to provide loving homes for rescued pets, including?

We have taken our dear Mac here ever since we got him. They have always been incredibly kind, and helpful, and as a working class person, I appreciate so much that they often give you options and work with you. Their flexibility and genuine concern for animal welfare has come across in all our visits, and I never once felt like I paid a fee that wasn't justified.

We were in town visiting our daughter for Thanksgivimg. Our dog needed urgent care for a 3-week old surgical wound (which was to repair a vicious dog bite) that wasn’t healing. The team at Atlantic was absolutely amazing. Not only did they fix George up but the communication was incredible, including a follow-up phone call to check in on him the day after they operated. We got written post-op instructions, a copy of the vet record and an itemized statement. We were so traumatized by the dog attack and needing to trust our pup to a vet we’d never met while far from home and they were wonderful

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
Just had our first wellness check up as new Seattle residents. The doctor called me while I waited in the car and she was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and really let me ask anything I wanted. The staff that managed all the parking lot transactions was also amazing, as was the reception staff. For what it's worth, my pet is a cat!

I have been taking my two cats and now dog to Atlantic for almost four years now and have always had positive experiences with them. My animals have had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Monahan, Dr. Munroe, and Dr. Cline and all are clearly extremely caring and empathetic animal lovers. Everyone else on staff is always polite, efficient, and eager to help or answer questions. CJ is a true cat whisperer and I would absolutely recommend Atlantic for any scaredy cat parents out there.
Thank you for always being there when we call about someone puking or a random bump or whatever else we may be panicking

I came here to get my elderly dog euthanized but they were only able to refer me elsewhere. The real issue was that my dog was severely traumatized while in their care. He could walk in on his own feet but had to be taken out in a stretcher. They recommended a dose of codeine or something to ease his pain so I agreed. This was the worst decision I could have made for my dogs final day on this planet. I'm so sad that I allowed them to this because for the rest of his time he was whining and in more pain than before. I will never allow this vet to touch another one of my animals ever again.
