I have had a passion for photography since I was a child, and when I took my first formal class in high school, I knew this is what I wanted to do! At the time I had absolutely no idea what that would look like exactly. I have come a long way over the years from a young student photographer to a family photographer.
It wasn't until I started my own family, that I found my passion and niche of family photography and children's photography. There is something about all of the details and nuances of these little people, expressions and mannerisms that they will soon outgrow and we will too soon forget, that I love to capture in family photography.

When I decided to have some photos done of my 6 year old son, and I, I knew I wanted Carolyn from Photography in Bend, because I wanted something different, artistic, unique, and authentic...and that is her specialty. I told her how I wanted the photos to feel and she asked me questions to help us come up with ideas. She asked me to describe my favorite day with my son. Genius! She came to our home and photographed us baking cookies, drawing, and snuggling on the couch watching cartoons with our pets. I love the photos because they feel like real memories. I also love that this photography style

Carolyn has been taking beautiful model photos for my jewelry business for the past three years. I needed head shots for our staff ASAP and Carolyn got back to me immediately, got us on her books, showed up on time, and got in and out. Carolyn took business photos for our website. She was very pleasant to work with and made the session fun. Our photos were returned to us quickly and were perfect. I saw some of her previous work on the way into her studio and it was magnificent. Not only were her pictures of people beautiful but she had taken ordinary things and made them works of art worthy to be shown in any gallery.
