I went with my partner (both of us are POC) to look at the complex as a prospective resident. Upon driving into the parking lot, we were followed closely by an older white woman in a green Honda CR-V. Upon leaving, she continued to follow us all the way to Capitola Beach - even when we got out of the car to go to a shop. She circled the block several times, looking at me directly in the eye, and even stopped to record my license plate, while stopped in the middle of the street, blocking traffic.

I really like Plum Street Garden Apartments. My initial impression of the facility and the on-site staff is warm and welcoming. The grounds are bright, colorful, and well maintained. All sorts of plants, shrubs and even beautiful tall palm trees are spread throughout the spacious common area in and around the units; evidence that they really care about the property where people call home.
While I was there interviewing with the on-site manager, I felt very comfortable. Sheryl is nice and made me feel welcome. Unfortunately, there just happened to be a pluming problem with an outside

Living in Capitola is great, it is such a cool beach community. We loved living at the Plum Street Garden Apartments. It was close to everything, we walked a couple blocks to the beach, and shopping was walking distance from our apartment up Bay Avenue. They had done some remodeling so the apartment was very cool, new plank flooring, trendy lights, new cabinets. Pricing was reasonable, rents are getting so high, but the rent was not bad. The manager is very sweet and was very helpful when our toilet got stopped up. It is unusually quiet so if you like to party it is not the place for you. As a
