Timberview Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Colorado Springs, Briargate, Black Forest, Air Force Academy and Monument areas for all of your veterinary needs. Our vet clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Vicki Wynn, who is a caring, experienced Colorado Springs veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients on how to keep their pets healthy year round, with good nutrition, exercise, and preventive care.
Dr. Vicki Wynn grew up in Oklahoma surrounded by many different types of animals. She accompanied her father, a bull fighter (rodeo clown) and showman, on his rodeo circuit during her childhood. Dr. Wynn was exposed to various companion animals, farm animals, and wildlife and knew she would always be involved with animals.
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. In order to provide the best and most comprehensive care for your animal, we do not routinely accept walk-in appointments.

We made an appointment to get some of our dog's vaccinations due to our normal vet not being able to get us in on short notice. The vet was very unprofessional when I informed her of our situation (Dr. Wynn). She commented "that says something about your other vet, that we're able to get you in on a holiday". I was shocked by this comment and the vet was not joking. This comment was unnecessary and very unprofessional. It is not ok to try and bash another vet clinic. In addition, I would say that it means that our vet is popular and due to high demand is so busy. What does this

Vicky has taken cate of my dogs before she was in private practice. No one will care or love your family members more than she does. She will provide the best care possible from their visit to their last. I would not take my animals anywhere else. The closest vet to me is less than a block away… I will drive the 25 minutes to ensure my family member gets the care she deserves!

Dr. Wynn's care goes beyond the high standard pet care maintenance and into the realm where tough decisions have to be made, that she knows will be hard for all involved. But the thread of kindness throughout is beyond anything I would have ever expected. Our sweet Phantom knew it was time to go and Dr. Wynn confirmed it, at all times maintaining a sensitivity to the needs of both our beloved dog and ourselves. We are forever grateful and Phantom's passing in such caring arms was a gift to us.

So so happy we found this wonderful animal hospital. We were able to get in within a few days for our initial appointment. We have a very large puppy and Dr. Wynn took extra time to show us some training techniques. The front office team are super friendly and very thorough. They call after every appointment to see how our pup is. One time when our puppy got sick, they called every couple days to make sure he was ok. Most importantly is we trust Dr. Wynn. She is informative, incredibly knowledgeable and takes our concerns very seriously.

I have had pets my entire adult life and Dr. Wynn is hands-down the BEST veterinarian I have EVER encountered. I needed a caring vet to operate on our rat, Baby, to remove a tumor. Surgery was a success, but had issues keeping the wound closed as Baby is so wiggly!! Had to take her in multiple times, and Dr. Wynn was patient and understanding the whole time. Baby is a fat, active, happy rat again!! Thank you SO much!!

Dr Vicki is incredible! We’ve never had an issue getting in to see her and we’ve been able to reach her after hours when our dogs always decide to have issues. She is always honest with us about the care of our dogs and I really appreciate that!

I would like to say "Thank you so very much" to Dr. Wynn and the entire staff of Timberview Animal Hospital for taking care of my 19-year-old cat Monster and me too. Monster had been on chemo for over 4 years for small cell intestinal lymphoma and was also on antibiotics for an infection caused by a broken canine. This was a dangerous condition for Monster because of his suppressed immune system. We just moved to Colorado Springs from San Diego, which was a long trip for Monster as well. PET OWNERS! BEWARE! If I could give negative stars I would! I have never in my life experienced such horrible vet service from Timberview Animal Hospital!
My neighbor warned me not to take our animals to this vet because of how poorly she talked down to her in her first office visit. We had our dog spayed and a tumor removal back in 2017 and not much talk was exchanged so I thought it would be ok to keep going back for the few office visits. Unfortunately, the last few office visits I bit my tongue and thought I would try one more time in hopes maybe the vet was having a bad day. HUGE mistake

Dr. Wynn is the best!
She's always there whenever my cat has any issues, and she always takes the time to answer any questions, provide whatever my cat needs, and make sure she's well taken care of.
The best part is that Dr. Wynn truly loves animals! For her, it's not just the business, or even a job. She really cares about the animals, and will go to great lengths to make sure they get the care and attention they need.

Edit: I called and spoke with Tara and she agreed to accept a return on the meds and refund our cost, so that's good news. My wife was still a little disappointed in the visit overall; she said she felt it was all rushed and that the dogs didn't get a very thorough examination but it may have been in part due to staff adjusting to the COVID measures in place. We'll likely stick with these guys and give them another chance.

Our beloved dogs were small rescue "hybrids," 12-years-old, and litter mates. Both of them were playing in a shady yard when they simply laid down and died. We are new to the area but In our shock and grief, we needed to arrange for aftercare of their little bodies. Dr. Vicki Wynn was indescribably compassionate. She took the time to discuss why they might have died so suddenly and gently arranged for us to say our goodbyes. What a beautiful place. Thanks.

This past holiday weekend, my cat Zeus became very sick. I took him to the pet er and was quoted $3000+ to help him. I called Dr Winn crying from the parking lot at 945 pm and asked her for her opinion. She is the only vet I called that you could speak directly to her. The other vets I called referred me to call the er hospitals. I spoke with Dr Winn, she was so kind, calm and helped me figure out what to do. I then took Zeus to her the next morning (Saturday) and she helped us. Most places were closed for the holiday weekend but she was open. She saved me thousands of dollars and really supported
