The YMCA of South Florida has 9 convenient Family Centers and an Aquatic Center in Broward and Miami-Dade counties, and a Program Center in Monroe County. The Y also provides afterschool care and enrichment programs for school-age youth in Broward and Miami-Dade counties through our Youth Development programs.

Established as a YMCA in 1970, the Greater Hollywood YMCA has served the community for nearly 50 years. This full-service health and wellness facility has youth, family and senior activities and programs. It is home to one of the premier gymnastics programs in South Florida. And with a preschool on site, the Y provides a safe, positive place for children to learn, grow and thrive.

Big fan of this gym. The staff is great - very kind and all around good energy when you walk through the doors. The classes have a variety for any level of fitness and wonderful options for the kiddos i.e. sports leagues, after school, and love the daycare option for when I don't have a sitter. Plus it's very nostalgic for me having the best memories of my youth take place at the Y with my family. This will be my forever gym!

I love this gym! It's clean. The times I go it's not crowded. The people at the door recognize me! The staff is highly knowledgeable about working out to rehabilitate injuries. I am grateful for the employees who disinfect the machines. I enjoy the Zumba and strengthening classes and the ability to use either room when class isn't in session. The sitting area downstairs is comfortable.

I tried to cancel my memebrship over the phone and they would not let me. I dont have the time to go to the gym anymore and that is why I called to cancle. But now they tell me I have to go in person to cancle my memebrship. What a complete waste of my time. The YMCA is over priced!!! I went to another YMCA with so much more (pool, steam room and sauna,) and paid a fraction of the price. The YMCA should lower their prices considering they dont not offer these amenaties.

The Y is a welcoming community of people of all ages. The gym is well-run, clean and the equipment is well-maintained. I am grateful for the YMCA South Dade Family Center. I enjoy going there and working out. I look forward to the day it is safe to bring back more of the pre-Covid classes.
