Went here a few weeks ago with my sick dog and they ran tests on his heart. The vet said he had a heart murmur, but he didn't have heart failure. He wanted to run all of these extra tests on him that would be super costly and he prescribed him a heart medicine. The medicine was crazy expensive! $60 for 2 weeks! Ridiculous! I had taken him to the vet after this place and they said his heart was failing and they gave him even more meds. Nothing was helping and we had to put him down a couple of weeks later. Going there was a complete waste of my time and money.

We had to take our son’s dog in late on a Sunday evening to have him put down. The staff was very kind, considerate, thoughtful, and professional. Even though at a time like that price is not an issue they were several hundred dollars lower than I ever dreamed they would be on a late Sunday evening. I would definitely recommend them someplace to go.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS VET.
My dog has been on a steroid for nearly two years. Unfortunately, our dog became sick and we were not able to get the steroid into the dog. We checked our dog in for what was supposed to be an IV injection for dehydration along with her steroid. The only piece of information the vet offered was how important it was to administer the steroid and that the dog could not go without it (WE ALREADY KNEW THIS) . The expected stay was 24 hours for $1,400.
They called us less than 8 hours later and told us our dog had received enough fluids to go home. We took her

I called concerned about my dog who was acting like she was poisoned. Instead of saying hey come in and let us take a look at her. They basically said, "Put her in a quiet room and wait for your normal vet because if you don't have a ton of money up front we don't care about your dog." I don't understand the heartlessness and greed. Back home in Colorado they would have said, "Bring her in and we will work out a payment plan after she is better." However it's not like that here it's more about the money than the animal which tells me you're in the wrong line of work and doing it for the wrong reasons

This business is not worthy of a single star
We had taken our sweet girl on a Saturday at around 1am, she was very ill, laying on her side with her tongue out, a few days before she had diarrhea but drank a lot of water, this is supposed to be an Emergency hospital and the Dr”s main focus was the diarrhea and not the fact she was so ill, he even asked me why she starred at the floor, that’s why she is here something was wrong, two hrs and $500+ later they sent her home with medicine for the diarrhea, sadly two days later our girl passed away, we failed her, I now wish we had taken her to the

Had to bring one of my dogs in for a broken claw/profuse bleeding. It was a Sunday, and there was a wait, but once we got inside, the staff were all very professional and caring. They even trimmed the rest of his claws and bandaged him back up. I feel like the wait was based on triage, and not any other reason. My pet was not in immediate danger of losing his life or limb. I will definitely return when my regular vet is unavailable for emergencies.

Our chronically ill cat got very ill over a weekend a couple weeks ago so we had to bring him in and euthanize him. The staff was very kind, they got us right in, gave us all the time we wanted with him. The procedure was quick and they kept him so the cremation place could pick him up. This was a difficult time for us and they helped make it as smooth as possible. They also sent us a nice sympathy card. I would highly recommend them for emergency pet care.

I wasn't sure what my cat needed but only knew he was in pain. They found the problem right away and chi chi is so relieved now. Thank you so much for treating him so quickly and compassionately!

Clients are not allowed inside right now due to the pandemic. The staff meets you and your fur baby outside. You'll wait in your car. They call you and give diagnoses, fees associated and status of treatment. Minimum of $95 just to be seen, but for your peace of mind and having your fur baby treated, it's reasonable. My cat got into a fight and resulted in his eye and surrounding severely injured. My cat was evaluated, had blood work, received a neck cone, both eye drops for swelling and antibiotics which we brought home. All this was $262.00. Took about an hour and a half or so.

Had to rush our old girl in early morning and have her put down. The compassion that Samantha had from answering the door to answering questions was easing. They took such good Care of our baby girl and us in our hard time.
Days later they sent us a card of sympathy. An extra step to show they truly care for the families and patients.
From staff to facility, if I could give a 10 I would

Absolutely would never recommend this place to anyone... sat there for over 2.5 hours with my very sick dog that was pooping straight blood, and no one seemed to be clean concerned about it. after hour one i called to check in because we hadn't seen anyone not even a tech for vitals and the staff member i talked to was so awful i was almost to tears. after i kept having to take my dog out in their lawn to potty because he was so sick we decide to leave and find somewhere else and as we're leaving they magically say they can get him in. joke of a business. joke of a staff.

They are caring and kind. Pet parents are emotional when our fur children are hurting. We had to say goodbye to our sweet boy that night. The vet was very sympathetic to our pain.

Later that next week, we received a sweet condolences card from them. That meant so much to us.

Great hours, kind and knowledgeable staff, comforting interior, easily accessible.

IF You ever have a pet emergency, I recommend coming here if nearby.

I'd use this place as a last resort and be prepared to drain your savings. $95 for exam only to check animals seems reasonable for emergency care but it hurts when you live paycheck to paycheck. The staff was pleasant, place is nice, sterile clean. But I can tell it's a money mill, the bill shot up to $225 for just meds and IV. We were up front with what we could afford and they did the exam and we walked out with 1 med for $120. I would state your budget up front if money will be a issue. They will bring out the bill and make you sign that you will pay or apply for credit before they

Excellent Clinic to bring your animals. They were efficient, kind, professional, and the premises are exceedingly clean. The nurses and doctors called us regularly. Our old Labrador was in the hospital two nights with serious cardiac problems. Even though this is a tough time as a dog owner, I rest assured that professionals are so close to home.

Thank you Animal Emergency Center. Clean facility, fast, helpful service on the phone and prompt when I came in. When I checked out they said they would send over documentation to my normal vet. Would come back again, hopefully under less stressful circumstances. Clean, new place. Best of luck to all the animals.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to this place for saving my 4 year old boxer, Jäger's life. I brought him in at 3 AM with really bad bloating. Immediately, they took him back did X-rays, hooked him up to IV's and spoke with a doctor within minute about immediate surgery that his stomach had twisted and he was filled with gas and fluids. The doctors, techs and front office staff were amazing and through hands down. Amy helped me immensely with going above and beyond in contacting CareCredit for me to make the payment process simple and easy after all said and done. If ever needing

I took my 2 year old cat here after she I found her having difficulty breathing. She was in very bad shape and I agreed to the $84 exam fee. This included no treatment. They took my cat and I had barely started the paperwork when they came back and said she was doing very poorly and it would be at least $300 more for blood work and X-rays. That also included no treatment, and is much higher than my normal vet, but of course they were closed. We discussed her prognosis and current state and after much thought (and many tears) I opted to end her suffering and put her to sleep. The staff was very

This is a wonderful facility, with very concerned and caring employees. Obviously an emergency hospital isn't where you want to be with your pet, but if the need arises, I highly recommend their care. I appreciate everything they did for my cat, who unfortunately was so sick that she couldn't be saved. But I don't doubt for a minute that she wasn't getting the best care in Tulsa while she was there. Great place, great people.

We want to give a special shout out to Dr. Chad Powers at AEC. We wasted 3 days and several hundred dollars at Good Sheppard in B.A. and came away with no idea as to why our dachshund was in extreme distress. It took Dr. Powers about 10 minutes to conclude that our little guy's distress was due to an issue in his back. We subsequently went to Tulsa Veterinary Associates two days later because we had an appt with the highly regarded Dr. Kunzweiller, but Dr. Powers put our fears to rest with the right diagnosis and treatment to help us get to the next step. By the way, Dr. K confirmed Dr. Powers

My 3lb Yorkie got spayed yesterday. Tonite she threw up 5 times then developed diarrhea and discharge instructions from regular vet stated take her in right away if those symptoms developed. While the 24 hour service is helpful For emergencies,Upon arrival, receptionist lacked personality and demanded I put a payment method on the paperwork despite me telling her my payment method would depend on the final bill amount. It was a very above average wait time despite no one really being there. When tech came in she took vitals, temp etc then stated she wanted to run everything by doctor so another
