Derango Pizza King

Customer service incredibly bad. The girl on the phone didn’t even know the menu or what kind of soup they had for night. Took a couple of minutes for her to figure what kind of soup they had. Didn’t comprehend anything that I was saying. And had a rude tone, food is extremely hit or miss and most of the time the order is incorrect. Also don’t bother asking for delivery if you like your food to be in any way warm.

My wife and I used to order from DeRango's when we were in college 20 years ago. We just moved back to Kenosha, and decided to see if it was still as good as we remembered.
DeRango's NAILED it! My kids loved the pizza and the breadsticks, which was a miracle in and of itself. These kids never eat, but they wolfed this meal.

Food is pretty okay but they missed an entire item on our order, somehow still putting on of its sides in. The delivery time was a quite long and they ended up doubling our delivery fee too.

I have been a customer for years! Ive always had great good and service with little to no errors. Last month I ordered the sheet pizza family meal that comes with wings and 2 sodas. ALL of my food was delivered cold. Not warm, Luke warm, barely warm like totally cold. I knew they were extremely busy, it was a Friday amd delivery wait time was an HR and a half so I was understanding. I called and let them know which the young lady who answers was so sweet. This place has gone downhill. A few weeks ago I ordered a sheet Pizza with wings and was told it would be there within an hour. 2 hours later my delivery comes, pizza's cold everything is cold. And just today my girlfriend ordered me a medium pound deluxe burger and had to wait a half hour to get the order after they told her it would be ready at a certain time and when she brings it to me at my job in Racine I get the burger and it is literally raw. We have take out a lot. It's close and affordable. However, they are not consistent. The phone person never knows the soups. Salads are always prepared differently. They run out of certain items every day, very early... Instead of catching the drift lol. When they mess up your order, which happens enough.. they don't care to make it up. Ie. Sent wrong soup, and received cost of soup in mail. Nothing more, nothing less 😂. Kinda didn't help, when the meal was soup and salad. Thanks went hungry that night😆. I think this is my last time ordering Derangos tonight. I live so close that I keep trying, hoping it will get better, but it's only getting worse. I used to love the fried chicken and various items, but the last two years in particular the food is just terrible and it seems like nobody there knows what to do.
Tonight I tried again, ordered the 2 chicken breast dinner, and literally got a breast and a thigh. The one breast was so dry it tasted about 10 days old. Completely inedible. I love that they are open and deliver late, but it just isn't worth it anymore for terrible meat and gross, soggy

I have ate here over a dozen times. The food is always so good & cooked fresh! Even tho this is pizza place they offer way more than just delicious pizza! I been hooked on they’re grilled hot dogs and cheeseburgers! So so good! The waitress was also very polite and fast! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I used to get food from here a lot but not so much since I moved. They used to be great. Now the experience was awful. The girl taking my order told me the soups were beef barley and chicken and rice....I ordered chicken and rice and got chicken noodle. The sheet pizza was good and hot, but the soup was ice cold. The bread bowl for the soup was not especially good either and the whole top was cut in half so I couldn't put the soup in the "bowl" part. Delivery was 1 hour 15 minutes. I don't usually go to Kenosha for pizza but being Memorial Day everything closed early. We had a group of 8 and we decided to give it a try. Service was good. There was only 1 waitress but she did do a good job for as busy as they were. It was a little loud as the bar and jukebox were in the same room. They did have a special 1/2 off pizzas which was nice as that's what we planned on ordering. The pizza was good. Maybe not the best I've had but good. They also have a new custard stand in front of the building that I'd like to also try.

A box full of grease. Their Italian Pizza Sausage IS WAY TOO GREASY. They need to change suppliers or change product. The box bottom of our Sausage Thin Crust pizza was drenched with grease.

I was visiting a friend in Kenosha so we decided to try this nearby restaurant plus she had a coupon. Even though this restaurant is a neighborhood, this limited parking behind the building.

We had arrived shortly after 11am so we were able to be seated right away. The interior is nothing fancy plenty of various booths and tables with plenty of space between them.

The best pizza I've had in a long time! Had my family over for dinner so was looking for something to feed a large family. Boy did we luck up on this place! We got pizza, wings and breadsticks. Very reasonable prices! Food was hot, on time and DELICIOUS! I will definitely eat here again and now my other family members will too.

Worst custard ever. Received a flyer in the maid today advertising ice cream and custard. Decided to try it. NEVER AGAIN. Way overpriced and quality was horrible. The custard had ice shards in it and no flavor. Photo is of a $4.95 hot fudge sundae.

Their food has no flavor , Wings are dry & sad looking . Pasta has no flavor at all . SAD don't recommend

Yesterday i saw their ad on Facebook and decided to pay a visit. Oh my God was I pleased. The wings were cooked to perfection and the sauces used were out standing. I recommend the BBQ Garlic wings for sure. This is going to be my new wing spot. I loved the mild crunch as you bit into the wing. The pizza was outstandingly good. This is a busy place for sure. The wait staff are on top of things from what I see. Masks are warn by the staff. Casey; the bartender, was very attentive and came from behind the bar and explained the specials and menu items. Don't like the pizza. Always too much cheese for me and not cooked enough. It's the thick chunky cheese vs soft gewey cheese

Placed an order for delivery. The first time they came with the wrong order. Called them back and they came back with what was supposed to be the right items and took the previous items that were delivered back. Upon opening the bag we realized they still didn't get the order correct. Disappointed. Won't be ordering from here again.

Over the last few weeks, we have ordered delivery and have had no problems at all. The food has come quickly and has been tasty. I have loved the gnocchi (and I'm picky with gnocchi!). Tonight, my parents got their meals and once we had it unpacked, we realized that I didn't get my gnocchi. So, I called back and they apologized and said they would send out the gnocchi as soon as they could. Shortly after, another delivery came. I opened it up and found that it was not gnocchi. 4 words... Frank's Special House Pizza I'm going to be honest, Derango's is not my usual go-to for typical, standard orders... HOWEVER, Frank's Special is amazing and keeps me coming back!!! It doesn't have a pizza sauce, but tomatoes, olive oil, and herbs instead. Hubs and I get it with sausage and it's freaking amazing... I mean it! You can't beat that they're open later than any other place in Kenosha for delivery and if you want another unexpected treat try their pot roast and mashed potato dinner. Great food! Best chicken dinners in the area. They offer specials everyday. My fav is 1/2 price pizza and Wed night-4 piece chicken dinner at $5.95.
Parking is tricky and they often get pretty crowded.
The restaurant is an open area with a long bar. Careful on Bringing family. The bar gets loud on game days/nights, and several occasions a few at the bar have made a scene, which the servers had to threaten to call the police.
All in all a good neighborhood place.

I stopped in Derango Pizza King on a weeknight after 9pm. It was the only Italian/pizza option open late that we could find. Smart to stay open late!

The room was jam packed with tons of young kids drinking and dining. The music was loud and the bar was full. The room was bustling but the atmosphere lacks polish. We sat ourselves and our server, looking frazzled, said she'd be back soon.

When our server finally got to us, still looking overworked, she was friendly and helpful. She answered our questions, without rushing, even though she was slammed. She remained attentive, which I appreciated
