I'd like to give a higher rating. For their rare appearance in a pole dancing class, maybe learn to keep the psych high for guys? It's not that hard. Be conscientious of the fact there is a guy in the room and stay away from gendered pronouns. Men do participate- i know less often- in that activity. Juuuuust say yall instead of ladies if there is a guy in the class. Also, half of the moves taught were to accentuate female form and sexuality. Overall the class was fun though. Not one star.

A good gym in a a good location! It has a great variety of equipment all in good working condition. The atmosphere is very friendly and helpful. There are a number of good personal trainers if you want one. They also have a very good massage therapist. Group classes are available also. There is a wide range of ages and all seem very comfortable in this gym!

I am so happy that I found this place. I could go on about the many reasons but I'll reduce it to just three. 1) Very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable staff 2) Gym accommodations (yoga mats, towels, locker room and toiletries 3) Experienced instructors who pay attention to your needs. I had been googling for hot yoga in Dallas and found an article, it listed many places but I chose this one because it was close to my home and they offered various payment options if you just wanted to try it out. So after my first day and being warmly welcomed by the staff at the front desk and the instructor,

I have been going to PPF for over 1 year now. I truly enjoy going to this gym. I really do not like working out- I love eating and just want the weight to come off. I invested in going to a personal trainer a year ago and have not regretted it once. I first started off with Sherry, she is fantastic and truly make sure you have the proper position to make sure you do not injure yourself. I am now with Chris and he is fantastic. He puts together the program you need and if you ever want to try anything you just ask. As much as I do not like going to the gym I love the results. (If I did my

This gym is like a hidden little gem. It's not huge but it has pretty much everything you need. The gym is very clean and well kept. For being small they have things spaced out well so it doesn't feel like you're working out in a maze. The trainers are very friendly and helpful if needed. If you're looking for a great trainer ask for Jeremy! He will kick your tail and get you in to great shape! He ran me through an assessment my first time so that he could get an idea for my technique, strength and endurance levels. He then caters workouts to your needs!

I joined the gym as part of VFD. It is a top notch place. The gym is great, staff is always friendly, great equipment, very clean, and I love the fresh fruit and coffee station! I have been very impressed with the place and recommend it highly to those who are looking for a cozy familial gym with exceptional service and great amenities. I have been a member at large scale chain gyms and it does not compare. Power Play is more my speed.

I went for the first time for an aerial silks class and I have to say it was a lot of fun. Warning, your feet, abs, and forearms will be very sore lol. The instructor was very patient with me being as I am not the most fit person in the world and have no upper body strength. I will be a regular here and encourage others to try it.

Power Play Flow Yoga classes are great! Ramona Johnson is by far the best yoga instructor in the DFW area! Studio is clean, instructors are knowledgeable and varied, staff is super friendly, and the overall facility is superb. My only minor issue has to do with the class times. Since it is a small neighborhood studio, the schedule is limited to two morning classes and one night class during weekdays, and two morning classes on weekends. This is tough if you work long and/or diverse hours and require more scheduling freedom for your workouts.
However, I found that despite my busy schedule

I only train here temporarily until my trainers gym is finished. I have to say, I like the small size of the gym. It's not packed when I go and there is not a lot of gawkers and watchers. Just people really working out and that's what I need. No socializing, just training.
I also notice they have Vertical Fitness Dallas classes here. I have never taken any but I am interested in getting more information since coming here.

I came across a groupon to this place to try out 10 hot yoga classes and a month of membership. The hot yoga room was a little small, but the class was amazing. The room stays between 90-95 degrees, and the instructor walks you through an hour of practice. I went to the 6am class, and it is a little intense for those that haven't practiced in a while. The room does get hot, and if your body isn't used to it, you will get dizzy, drink a ton of water!!!! It is a class for all levels though, so don't be intimidated by the girl that can twist her legs and do handstands at random

Power Play is like the "Cheers" of gyms. The trainers are absolutely amazing and everyone is very friendly. Even if you're not having a training session for yourself, you will be inspired by watching others! They're all very passionate about what they do.
I highly reccomend it to anyone looking for a great neighborhood gym filled with people who truly love to exercise! They have all the equiptment you could ask for.

Recently worked out here for a promotional 7 day trail. (Check it out, it's 7days for 15$ from now til the end of January I think.) It's in conjunction with the Moves Studio (located in the same block). Near Campbell and Preston.
The cardio equipment is not very up to date and it's in a very crowded area. But it's functional. The weight equipment is nicer. There's not a lot of space, especially when the private trainers are busy.
