The Gym of Social Mechanics is a functional fitness gym offering small group classes led by certified trainers. Workouts combine a variety of dynamic movements, including cardio, bodyweight, kettlebells, and foundational weightlifting. Our classes are led by certified trainers who can provide modifications & alternatives to all exercises for any fitness level.
If you just want to come sweat it out 3 days a week to work off that beer you drank last weekend. Cool, we can do that. Or if you have serious fitness & health goals, we can also help you transform your body or hit that PR. Regardless of your current fitness level, we will help you reach your fitness goals and encourage you every step of the way.

Uplifting. Motivating. Challenging. And of course Cristen! This is the gym for those looking for a challenge, camaraderie, and a sure fired way to better your own life. The classes are well instructed, thoroughly thought out, and the lifting portions are broken down into every detail. Functional fitness at its core. This place is awesome!

The laws of thermodynamics go right out the window as soon as you set foot in this forbidden dome of mystery. Kristin is a master trainer who honed her skills with decades of Pokémon Go experience. She will teach you to unlock the true power of your thorax through transcendental meditation and advanced holographic combat simulations. Each workout will leave you feeling like a rabid buffalo and you will crush your enemies without mercy. I’m truly grateful to this gym for giving me the ability to manipulate spacetime and sing songs in Hindi about bird flu. Not to mention the fridge is stocked

They really take care of every person that walks in. Everyone is super friendly and I couldn't ask for a better atmosphere of trainers and people you are surrounded by. If you want results you go to social mechanics. I cant stress enough how much the trainers really care about your goals and your health.

I worked out at Social Mechanics for 6 months or so. This is a fantastic gym. The staff really do care about your well being and work closely with you to meet your goals. The classes are organized in a way to give you both strength and cardio in one workout. This has been changed since they first opened. They are constantly improving way they host each classes and keep the social aspect of the workout as a priority.
I will guarantee you that you won't feel intimidated going to this gym. You don't need to lift heavy weights to fit in. Everyone knows and remembers where they were when they started

I love Social Mechanics! I've been attending their classes 4-5 days a week on average and have seen great results in my strength, endurance, and body composition. I also really enjoy the relationships I've made at the gym. The class I go to (5:30am) is becoming a tight knit group. We encourage, challenge, and laugh with each other.
It's great to just show up at the gym and have my workout pre-planned, and I'm confident that I'll get a thorough full-body workout and work on cardio as well. I also train for half marathons, and I've seen a HUGE improvement in my pace since joining SM even though

I highly recommend you try this place out! I can't say enough good things about it. It is a fantastic workout that is fun, fast and different every time. The coaches are super nice and often entertaining, but more importantly, you can tell they love what they are doing and are there to guide you. They are super focused on form and proper technique. And the members are great, too. I've tried several different class times and everyone is so nice and eager to have a new person join the group. It's like a little fitness family! Try it - you'll love it!!

This is the best gym I've ever joined! Functional fitness, perfect location, and a training staff that keeps you coming back. Social Mechanics has been a wonderful resource not only for fitness, but also for healthy eating and a healthy balance. Most importantly, members of this gym are so close… we actually are friends!
