I had an appointment for 1/28/2021 for my routine bi-yearly cleaning and checkup as allowed by my dental insurance at no cost to me.
After I finished the office woman presents me with a bill for $56.30 for x-rays she says my insurance didn't cover.
This is a scam, I believe she knew they weren't covered and they did them anyway.
My insurance states I'm allowed TWO FREE CLEANINGS & CHECKUPS per year.
Because they are so greedy and do work they know isn't covered by routine exams they have lost my business.

They are always on time! Yep! So if your time is valuable to you and you’re on a schedule, you can be assured, they won’t keep you waiting.
They staff is pleasant! Yep! They are courteous and kind every time on the phone & with scheduling.
The dentist and hygienist are gentle! Yep! Dr. Kim and his dental staff are gentle, precise, and perfectionists. Even my children have started coming here - that is how gentle he is with his patients.

Hands down, best dentist I have ever been to. Dr Kim is so thorough and has dexterity like a surgeon. He even did the de-scaling and cleaning himself. Marco and Steven, the secretary-technician-hygienists are warm, inviting, informative and proficient. I have found the last dentist I'll ever need. So happy to finally be in the hands of a great dentistry. ☺️

Cannot express how happy I am with Dr. Kim. I went for my first visit yesterday afternoon and everything went smoothly. Appointment started on time, the staff and location were incredible. I went in for a cleaning and to get a filling done on a chipped tooth. I have had fillings on my front teeth for the past 10 years and its been a constant struggle as they break or the color on the tooth seems off. I couldn't believe the results when Dr. Kim was done. It looked as the filling were part of my teeth and not additions. You couldn't even tell they were there. Extremely happy with the results

Dr Kim is an outstanding dentist. His equipment is extremely advanced so he can detect problems immediately. His work is beyond exceptional. After going to him, my teeth have never felt as good as they feel today.

Dr. Kim is the best dentist I have ever had. He's an absolute wizard. He's tremendously thorough during his evaluations and cleanings. I wish I was eligible to come more often than twice a year! Been going here for 5 years since I moved from the east coast. Love the location right across from my complex. Dr. Kim is so thorough and kind, and he even took great care of my mom when she had to temporarily relocate here due to family issues and had unexpected dental issues, she needed multiple implants and bone grafting and he took great care of her during a difficult time. Great hours, friendly staff too!

I have always had issues with dentists, whether they have given me fillings I didn't actually need, not doing proper dental work, and just being straight up horrifying. Dr. Kim has changed my view in dentists. For one, he's honest. For two, he's friendly. Three, he does really good work.
I have not had a single issue or complaint. The staff is very friendly too. They're very understanding of your financial situation if you need expensive dental work.
I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone, friends and family.

I've been going to Dr. Kim for over 5 years now. He and his staff are not only professional and courteous but also have a nice sense of humor in an otherwise not so humorous profession. I've had teeth whitening, multiple crowns, a root canal and many many cleanings so various services. I have referred several co-workers to him and they all have said great things about him. No need to look further for a competent and friendly dentist who will not sell you any service that you don't need.

Dr. Kim has been my dentist for the past 4 years and he is by far the most gentle, professional, and capable dentist I have ever had. Dr. Kim has been responsible for my dental cleanings as well as my Invisalign treatment and has the integrity to work according to the highest practitioner standards. Dr. Kim is the most gentle and genuine dentist I have been to. I would never let anyone else touch my mouth as I am terrified of dental work, even cleanings, and my family and I have been going to him for years. Every time I go for any work it's a quick and painless process, which is what I look for in any doctor's office. I have had fillings and extractions with Dr. Kim, he always makes sure you are completely numb and makes sure you are okay throughout the entire process. While I didn't end up receiving any service from Dr Kim, I felt I must relate my brief experience w this practice. I was in Scottsdale for a short getaway w friends when a bracket popped off my braces, leaving a 2" piece of sharp wire exposed & painfully poking the inside of my mouth. When I called and explained the situation to my own orthodontist in Denver, he suggested finding the nearest orthodontist/dentist and asking that the wire be clipped--- a matter of 10 seconds, he was certain any reputable dentist would do this as a professional courtesy. Dr. S Kim use to practice in Phoenix. I went to get new dentures there because my partial had to come out. He asked me what color I wanted, as I went through the ring of colors the last tooth was the whitest, it was also VERY small. I didn't question it. I went for many visits had to have teeth pulled had to wait for those to heal and when he finally brought out the new denture, it had tiny little teeth on it. Cost me 3000.00 dollars. Dr. Kim is always very thorough and honest. I've had other dentists try to talk me into unnecessary treatments because I have good insurance. 1 told me I had 4 fillings that needed to be done. Went to dr. Kim for a 2nd opinion and he said all 4 of those teeth were perfectly healthy. That was 3yrs ago and they are still perfectly fine. Such a relief to have an honest, caring, good dentist. I truly trust his opinion on the health of my teeth and gums.

Kierland Dental with Dr. Kim is the best dentist I have ever experienced. I no longer dread my dental appointments like I have before I started going to him. I have been going to Dr. Kim for the last 5 years, ever since he opened a convenient office in Kierland Commons. He is patient, always explains exactly what he is doing, he is a perfectionist with my teeth, and has a great staff with great personalities. Dr. Kim really knows his stuff. It's so hard to find a good dentist these days and I've always struggled with this the most. Dr. Kim is very attentive, pays attention to detail, listens to you and your concerns, and dives right in. I felt very comfortable that he knew exactly what he was doing and therefore I believe I've found my new permanent dentist :) Also, his staff is really friendly and they're willing to work with you if you don't have dental insurance!!
