Excellent customer service. Joseph and team polite and quick and our order was ready for pick up in 30 minutes. Generous sized portions and the food is made fresh. Alu Gobi Mutter is excellent - cauliflower with potatoes and peas in a rich broth.
Chicken vindaloo and coconut shrimp curry a must. Delicious hot breads - go for the garlicky Naan. Mango Lassi is great and Gulab Jammum for desert is tasty too. For me it's all about the service especially when ordering in and they get it right.

I stayed at a local hotel and needed a decent takeout dinner for the night. After rummaging through the options available on a Sunday night around 6pm, I had decided on Ambadi.

The food itself was decent enough. The flavors didn't blow my mind in relation to other Indian restaurants I've been to, but it was good enough to not complain. Unfortunately, my girlfriend's Goat Saag had very little meat in it and was mostly comprised of spiced sauce and goat bones.

My order of Boti Kebab was my favorite flavor that I had tried from them, although the meat was particularly tough.

Last visit I wasn't given 15% off as advertised and no condiments
Previous visit they stated didn't receive on line order I paid for, waited to have it redone and was wrong, 2 items missing and I had to return the following day for replacements. Be very careful

Don’t waste your money. This was worst Indian food I ever had. In Bindi do paiza they use frozen okra when they have mentioned fresh okra on the menu SUCH A SCAM and chicken tikka bhuna had watery gravy. Traders joes frozen nan is better then theirs and Punjabi Keer is made out of plain rice and leftover rasmalai juice (if you eat Indian dessert you know what I mean) When I called the manager to return the food he said he will not take returns and super rude. I wasted over $50 for trash.

Very disappointed with Ambadi's. I have ordered from this restaurant many times even though the food is not great (but I've been faithful). But i went in for lunch recently and they charged me $29 for two lunch specials, one tikka chicken marsela and a chana saag. i had asked for regular portions instead of the lunch combo, but they gave me only small portions with bread. I should've been charged a lunch rate of maybe $10-12, but instead they charged me a full rate for a half-portion. I was told they would take care of me, but instead of making up for the small portions, they said if I ordered

We had a party of 20 people. Quality of Non-Veg dishes reminded me Chandini Chowk mouth-melting Mughlai cuisine and Karim of Jama Masjid. Mutton Rogan Zosh, Butter Chicken and Kashmir Kababs, I love it. The best part their Garlic Nans were very soft. Vegetarian items were amazing from startup Gobhi Mashurians to dine. You need to tell them in advance, so when you reach everything must be ready as they make everything fresh. In any restaurant, you need to give Chef sometime to give you his best items. It is worth spending money. I will highly recommend everyone must give a try, please tell them

The kathi rolls here are just the frozen paranthas you get from the Indian store. They don't make them fresh. The filling had maybe 2 or 3 pieces of paneer, the rest was all oil and onions. Restaurant was empty on a weekend, don't know how mediocre businesses like this can survive.

I ordered from here recently for delivery. I got the mixed tandoori grill, which includes pieces of chicken tikka, malai kebab, seekh kebab, chicken tandoori, and tandoori shrimp, all of which were pretty tasty. I also got a tomato soup and some salad on the side which were alright. The prices are good for the amount of food you get. I will definitely be ordering from here again, especially it’s one of the few halal restaurants in the area.

Tika sauce was thin and basically soup. 5 small pieces of paneer in the saag. Needed salt and flavor. Even the naan was disappointing. Wish we asked for a refund as I was so looking forward to take out Indian. HUGE bummer

Ordered food at 8:00 pm arrived at 8:30. One entree was missing, so we called back. Advised food would be delivered in 10-15 minutes. Didn’t arrive for another 45 minutes and there was a large curly hair in the food. We’ve ordered here atleast a dozen times before and this will be the last.

OMG, yup it's THAT good! I love the breads you can get when visiting a spot like this, as it always just feels artisinal and like someone's mom made it. This is just that. Such an amazing bread here that was pillow soft and slightly oiled with a fragrant curry flavor that came from the chicken and spices inside. Onions and herbal chutney inside that balances everything out. Give this spot a try for sure if you enjoy Indian flavors!

We like to eat out when we can.  One of the greatest pleasures is discovering little family run ethnic restaurants.  The kind of place where the food is vibrant and fresh with real homemade recipes with rich sauces that are as delicious as they are fragrant and the gracious staff seem to go out of their way to accommodate.

Ambadi Kebob & Grill is one of those unicorn places for a great meal and friendly reception.  It's a little place in the center of White Plains just off the Post Road / Mamaroneck ave intersection next to the Arthur Murray  Dance studio and it's fun to

The food is delicious & presented beautifully. The people there are most warm, professional & welcoming. It's a lovely comfortable, clean place to spend time at. We especially love the Buffet that has a great variety of interesting dishes to choose from at a very affordable price.
For a treat there are great dance/music videos on a big screen to add to the ambiance & cultural experience.

Had an amazing time at lunch today with a co-worker. And it turned out to be a $10 buffet. Can't beat that price. And the food was genuinely super delicious. So much variety. Everything looked and smelled amazing. Taste was great. Especially loved the spinach. And the mushroom curry. Also loved lamb. Chicken and basmati rice was amazing. The bread was fresh and delicious. Not so spicy so it's a good choice for everyone. For those who like spicy, you have mango pickles to add a bit of kick to your food. The place is sparkling clean. Owners Amal and his wife and all the staff are so friendly and

Very nice meal with family! We've eaten take out from here when it was the Bengal Tiger's take out satellite. Tonight we came in for an early meal and everything hit the spot.

The menu had a good mix of vegetarian and meat dishes. I enjoyed the samosas though I thought the vegetarian one was better than the lamb ones (better flavor/spice). We did our family's "boring go to" dishes: the saag paneer, chana , chicken tikki masala. We were given the options of "mild, medium, spicy." Next time I may consider "medium" but the "mild" was certainly

Ate in for the first time since it reopened. We have been ordering delivery for years and finally checked the place out. Simple decor, big screen TV playing Bollywood musicals. The staff were lovely- it was nice to finally meet them all. We took advantage of their lack of a liquor license to snag a bottle of wine from a nearby wine shop. Everything was excellent. The papadum and sauces were great. Lamb samosas were cooked perfectly. We got the mixed tandoori grill, bhaingan bharta, paratha and mango pickles. As good as the food is at home, it's even better in the restaurant. Finally, Ambadi

Absolutely obsessed with this place! First time trying Indian food and I'm glad it was here. Their curry chicken is amazing! Their prices are super reasonable and the staff are super friendly and they go above to make sure you have a great experience. I'm not a fan of too much spice and they accommodated the curry to be just right! They're lunch is buffet style and everything is just so full of flavor! New favorite spot for sure!
