Services
Physical examinations help veterinarians detect and treat problems early before they become potentially life threatening. Keep your dog healthy with annual examinations. Spaying your dog will prevent unwanted puppies, end heat periods, help eliminate ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, and uterine infections; and provide a significant reduction in the chance of breast cancer.
Physical examinations for cats help us detect and treat problems early before they become potentially life threatening. Exams check for overall health and wellness looking for any abnormalities your cat may have. Examining stool specimens can help us to detect and prevent intestinal parasites. Certain parasites left untreated can cause many complications; severe cases may result in debilitation and possibly death.
Spaying or neutering your dog or cat is the best decision you can make for your pet's long-term welfare. Early spaying and neutering can protect your pets from serious health problems. Get in touch with our experienced veterinarians today to learn more regarding this matter! The benefits of spaying your dog or cat are numerous, from preventing unwanted puppies and kittens to ending heat periods and eliminating ovarian cancer.
We hope that your pet never goes missing, but if your pet does get lost one day, we can find them again with the HomeAgain Microchip. Once we inject this tiny microchip under their skin, it's going to stay there for a lifetime. Animal shelters and veterinary hospitals nationwide have a hand-held scanner to read this microchip.

I absolutely love bringing my pets here. All of the staff is so kind and helpful. We love Dr. Averbeck! He’s always so professional and genuinely listens to concerns. My baby has several medical conditions and finding a vet in the past that makes controlling these issues with ease has been hard but Dr. Averbeck is amazing and I’m so happy to find this office.

I just wanted to give a big thanks to everyone at Oakley Square Animal Hospital!!! If you live in the area, I would highly recommend them. All of the Dr's and Nurses and staff are very kind and caring. I have… been going there for as long as I can remember, and I've never been dissatisfied or unhappy with them. They are affordable, and they are thoughtful and understanding of different circumstances and perspectives. Did I mention their people are all A1+ in just about every way!? My buddy Oliver had to have a growth removed from his ear. The surgeon did such a good job of walking us through

I’ve been taking my dog here for years, but will not be back. Had an encounter with a vet named Gatz? Grumpz? Gitz? Whatever his name, he was absolutely unprofessional, condescending and disrespectful to me. My dog stopped eating. Why do dogs stop eating? Had to research it myself when I got home to learn one of the most common reasons is tooth… pain, which wasn’t even considered or evaluated at the appointment, in fact, nothing was evaluated at the appointment due to Gatz’s pawdry lack of pet-side manner other than a $300 blood test. I called back when my dog started showing

I searched high and low for a great vet to professionally deep clean my dogs teeth. My dog Remy is my baby! I was so worried and particular about how she would be treated. She and I were both very nervous on the day of. She was shaking and hiding behind me. Dr. Kilgallin was very nice and gave me a lot of information about what would go on but the… person who really calmed my fears was the tech! The vet tech held my girl, talked to her gently and soothed her. The tech resssured me that no one would be rough with my girl and that if Remy was scared they wouldn't force her into any stressful

Love love LOVE this place. And my last vet back home is tough to compare to. Exceptional care. Vets give you cost conscious options. They don't over-treat with labs, X-rays, etc unless absolutely necessary. We've been here twice due to kinda/sorta-urgent situations (possible cancer lump benign, kennel cough) and got in same day, no problem. Vets and Staff are knowledgeable and caring. Clinic is clean. My dog, May, doesn't like visiting so much, but they care for her very well Thank you!!
