Services
Yoga can be so much more than an exercise routine. When informed by modern movement science and combined with mindfulness meditation, contemplation and deeper study it can help strengthen your body, stabilize your mind, open your heart and elevate your spirit so that you can become the best possible version of yourself - at home, at work and in your family and interpersonal relationships.

Jason is exceptional. One of the highest body IQs of anyone I've worked with, he got rid of chronic lower back pain (SI area) that had been lingering for ~5 months.
After a decade of orthopedic surgeries and sessions with 10+ PTs over the years, no one comes close to Jason in diagnosing the root cause of pain. I'm a big question-asker and his anatomy & physiology knowledge is second to none.
Also, he happens to be a fantastic, humble guy who calls it like he sees it. Very professional and punctual.
Would recommend to anyone, and look forward to working with him again for maintenance

So glad someone referred Jason to me! He is fantastic and has helped me manage a chronic problem I have had for a long time. I not only feel much better, but have learned so much about my anatomy and how to manage some of the triggers. I can't recommend Jason enough and feel so lucky to have met him. He is excellent!!!

Jason is the best massage therapist, I was referred to him by a yoga instructor. He knows his anatomy and physiology very well! I came to him with shoulder and elbow pain that we've been working on and has been become a lot better! He has a very knowledgable background with working on athletes as well! Definitely recommend him!!

Dear Friends,
I've been a yoga practitioner for over a dozen years and have visited at least 100 yoga studios around the world. For some reason, I always remember most fondly the Zenyasa studio. I wish that I still lived in NYC to attend classes, but wanted to relay my gratitude for this studio. I think at some point during a yogis/yoginis journey you somehow decide-rather discover- which style of yoga practice best suits you. Jason and Frances (teachers and owners of the studio) are fantastic people who, when you meet them, embody the long-term benefits of a sincere yoga practice. Zenyasa

Zenyasa Yoga Studio is a hidden treasure in the upper westside. Imagine: cozy yoga space with all the props you'll ever need, a warm, helpful yoga teacher that provides thoughtful instruction to deepen & refine your practice...all just steps away from the Westside Highway or Public Transportation. I have had the pleasure of taking class with Jason Brown, the studio owner. Jason teaches an alignment based practice, chock full of anatomy (he teaches anatomy to yoga teachers!) and zen meditation. It's a must visit!!!

So puzzled to look down and see so many positive reviews of this spot totally ignored and discounted... weird. This is a great place! I have been studying anatomy here since February and have become a more knowledgeable (and therefore more confident) teacher as a result.
I've also taken classes here -- mostly with Jason -- and always learn something interesting, a new adjustment or a surprising way of approaching a challenging pose. Jason is a direct and thoughtful teacher, and mindfulness is in the very air at this studio. I love taking classes here and I've enjoyed subbing a few classes

I never write reviews but I really enjoy this place, it's a really great studio. It's small but consequently feels more personal. Frances is really warm and kind. Each beginner class focuses on a different aspect of the body on a rotating basis. Very knowledgable about the human anatomy as well and she explains what you're working and why. Modifications are encouraged to accommodate peoples' injuries/sensitivities. Definitely recommended.

Went here today for the first time and loved it. I am new to yoga poses but have been meditating for a while. I loved the integration of the two in the Hatha Blend class I took this morning with Shell. I left feeling happy and calm and had worked on some core strengthening. I am definitely going back.

I may not be the biggest Yoga practitioner but I really liked this place. They are a small place that allows the instructor to really take care of you. If you are struggling or have an issue with a pose, the person running the class has always made sure to help out. I have felt isolated at Yoga studios before, but not here. The pace of the Yoga depends on your level, but all of the classes I have participated in have have kept me active and happy. I also really like the focus on zen meditation. It is non-denominational meditation, but in the style of Zen. I like it a lot, I have been meditating
