Fighting under the name "Young Dick Tiger", he started his boxing career at the age of 13. He fought in 91 amateur fights. After many years of amature and professional boxing, Tiger now brings his boxing experience and expertise into his own West LA boxing gym to teach boxing for fitness or competition.
Unlike other gyms, Tiger Boxing Gym is the only gym in the area that has a coaching staff comprised of competitive (or formally competitive) athletes who have the experience and "know how" to ensure that you will benefit from working with the best. Tiger teaches Elizabeth the technics of a proper upper cut.

Tiger is the BEST! The workout is intense and amazing. Tiger is the nicest man and truly creates an environment that works for everyone. More importantly, he knows his stuff. He is the real deal — no joke. This is my favorite new thing I have done since I moved to LA years ago and I am hooked! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Tiger is the best boxing coach!!! He's never satisfied; he'll push you beyond your perceived limits. But he's also really warm and he makes everyone feel welcome.
Each session starts with 4 rounds of 3 minutes of jumping rope, then he'll wrap your hands (he sells plenty of colorful wraps and he has gloves if you forget yours) for 4 rounds of sparring in the ring with him. After that you'll probably do 4 rounds of the speed bag, punching bag, and ab work.
You'll be shaking before the hour is over and conditioning will increase after just a few sessions. Go see Tiger

I am not an athlete and rarely use gyms. But my niece suggested we try boxing together at Tiger Boxing Gym and I have never regretted it. I had no idea that boxing is such an intense, full body workout. The only trainer in this small, old school boxing gym is Tiger himself, a former Olympian and Pro-boxer. He is a unique personality and a great trainer...pushing me to go beyond what I think are my limits. I love the circuit training with the bags and the speedball and the ab workout in addition to the private one on one with Tiger inside the ring. It never gets boring. I have seen him work with

If you want to improve your overall fitness level, or get into the best shape of your life AND if you want to enjoy yourself while doing it, Tiger Boxing Gym is the #1 private fitness and boxing gym in Los Angeles. The minute you step into this gym and work with Tiger, you will know that this is the "real deal" with a warm and personal touch.
ESPN ranked boxing as the #1 sport for complete fitness according to all Olympic committee and scientific standards. "The Sweet Science" , (boxing's nickname), ranks #1, hands down, of all sports, period. So, based on my

If you want a great one-on-one workout for a fabulous price, this is the place to be. A few months ago, I was attempting the "fitness at home" program with a treadmill and some DVDs. I couldn't find the motivation to develop a pattern, so decided on a whim to sign up for boxing. Wow. The owner/instructor, Tiger, is a great teacher and really pushed me above and beyond my fitness goals. My arms are cut, my abs are defined, and I can actually last 4 rounds without feeling like I'm about to faint or vomit. Ha. I'm hooked! The session lasts about 80 minutes and is a

Want the best work out of your life? hands down, one of the most challenging workouts i have ever done. i can't wait to go back. tiger was a complete pro and as a woman i felt like was treated as an equal and was completely comfortable working out there. if you aren't ready to push yourself you may not be in the right spot. this is a power packed one hour session and you will leave exhausted. i will highly recommend this to all my guy and girl friends. such a fun workout!

I'm a huge fight fan and get a rush from watching great fighters like pacquiao, mayweather, de la hoya etc etc. Is anyone else excited about Contender Season 3? Can I get an Amen? And I don't know if there is a person in the world more excited that Mayweather is going to be on the next season of Dancing with the Stars. (I know, a male who loves boxing and Dancing with the Stars.... I am a complex person ok)
Anyway, I've always wanted to learn the sweet science but never got around to joining a boxing gym until I found Tiger's. I don't have any real comparison to make
