My parents were blindsided by an incredibly large and complicated set of charges. The other lawyers they consulted were intimidated by the scope and complexity of the case, and we're slow to act. Let me start from the beginning. I live in South Orange County. I had a minor traffic ticket I was looking to pay off in San Bernardino County (Rialto Courthouse to be exact). I called to get the info so I could either go pay it or set an appointment for a court date so I could make payments. I was informed I had a felony warrant for my arrest for Taking over $400 from a disabled elderly person and a $50,000 bond.
