Kachumber salad was tired. Had been in the fridge for days. I’ve made it before and my refrigerated Kachumber was much better. Chicken Vindaloo was vinegary. We have had this many times and it NEVER tastes like this. Chicken Tikka Tandoori was dry and…meh. Sauce sides were the size of thimbles—REALLY? Gonna find another place.

I am not an Indian food guy, but wanted to give this place a try. It was incredible! I had the curry chicken and several types of nan. The food is fresh and well flavored! I ordered spicy and it was darn spicy, truly impressed with this place. I rarely see many cars there eating, but when I was there discovered that it is like grand central station for to go orders. Really really good!

Don't think I've ever had disgusting Indian food. We ordered out, shrimp Masala last night and it smelt so bad. We couldn't even eat it! The chicken was bright red, was that even chicken? What a waste of $60! The entire order was a mess! Definitely never going back.

I would rate it ZERO if I could. I was born in India and lived there for a while. I grew up eating the food Hotbits serves. Today, I ordered take out and the food was not what they claimed it to be. When I called them to talk about it, the guy who answered the phone claimed otherwise, didn't seem like they cared for the customer. Just because you use Indian spices does not mean you are cooking Indian food. Last time I will order from them. If you want to eat Indian food, GO ELSEWHERE.

Great food. Excellent naans!! Always ready fast when I pickup. Highly recommend! Not 5 stars because I think the meat portions are too small.

We ordered pick up. It was made on time and the food was very good. We had two chicken curries that were excellent and a tofu appetizer. Will definitely come back again.

One of worst indian food I had in the USA. Our earlier experience was better. Food was great but today’s food was not even near to be called restaurant food. Curries were tasteless. Naans were frozen naan, just warmed up. Biryani was the worst, just colored rice in some tasteless mixture. I think they have changed the chef and he / she doesn’t know cooking at all. They ruined our dinner plan. I will NOT recommend this restaurant at all. Do NOT waste your money.

Man, I love this place. Favorite I've been to in the area. Their Gobi Manchurian is ridiculous... just had their chili paneer and that's bomb. Portions are a little small for the price and they don't give much rice, so keep that in mind, but it doesn't bother me because it's so good here

Love HotBits! It's my favorite place in Katy for Butter Chicken. So super flavorful and rich. Add the Garlic Naan and it's a perfect meal.

Simply love this place! I was looking for a nice, affordable Indian Cuisine restaurant that wasn’t all the way over on Mason Rd. for awhile. Hot Bits covered scratched that need completely!
Owner and staff are always appreciative and gracious!
Food is always ready on time, or early!
Everything I’ve ever gotten is 100% hot and delicious!!!

Wanted to try someplace new other than our normal Indian place. Yelp search for something in the area and off we went......
Food was okay not bad. Young server was a bit overwhelmed but he was friendly. Lots of business coming in and out (take outs and deliveries). Very small place inside to eat. Had the chicken korma small portion it was ok. Also had the the chili paneer was a little over cooked for my liking. The bread basket with variety of naan breads was excellent and a lot.

Really good Indian food, may be the best in Katy? I haven't had much Indian food in Katy and coming from Houston, i have pretty high standards. Chicken korma was heavenly, paneer tikka masala was not bad. Lachhedar parantha was awesome - grilled to perfection in tandoor! Reduced 1 star just because the service could have been better. Don't get me wrong, it's not like the servers weren't courteous, just small things here and there like we were not given any serving spoon along with the curries and rice. All in all, a good simple place to hang out for some really good Indian food

I was craving Indian food and decided to order take-out from here based on reviews. My husband and I ordered the naan basket, goat curry, chicken tikka masala, and chicken biryani. All the dishes were pretty tasty, but my favorites were the naan and goat curry. The ingredients tasted fresh. I appreciate how the price are so reasonable! Overall, I recommend this place. It is a good addition to the Kayy community.

Tried their chicken biryani and chicken curry for a quick dinner fix. Biryani was good with nice fluffy rice. Amount was good, enough for 2 light eaters. Ratio of rice to chicken was balanced. Not the best biryani in the area but decent option if you are in the neighborhood. Chicken curry was simple, it came with plain jira rice. When I opened it, it was not appetizing at all. Gravy was kind of lumpy and meat pieces were not tender. Not really a dish I'd try again.
Place was nice and clean. My order was ready within the said 20-25 mins. Staff member was wearing mask. I may return to try out

My husband and I have become regular DoorDash orderers since Covid. We regularly order from 3-4 different Indian
Restaurants in the area. We decided to give Hot Bits a try, using DoorDash.

Everything was so fresh and flavorful. I did not expect such great flavors from a small, unassuming spot in Katy. I would expect this quality of food in the Houston area.

We decided to try something other than our usual Butter Chicken or Tikka Masala and ordered the Chicken 65. It was hands-down the best dish we've ever had.

I usually don't order Tandoori chicken, as from my previous experiences

I've been here twice now and I must say this is the Best Indian Food in Katy. DO NOT be fooled however, Katy has a notoriously bad reputation of Indian restaurants not panning out. As someone who grew up with my parents cooking Indian food, I must say HotBits sort of left me confused. While there Naans are some of the most tender and biggest portion wise that I've seen, the main dishes left me somewhat unimpressed.

The chicken tikka masala had just the right amount of heavy cream but seemed to miss the mark with the amount of tomato paste that seemed to be used, could literally taste

Another solid spot for Indian food in Katy! We ordered takeout from HotBits last week and really enjoyed it.

We all decided to share the lamb chop masala, lamb korma, and palak paneer. I liked all 3 of them! My favorite would have to be the lamb korma, but I am a bit biased since that's one of my all time favorite foods. The palak paneer had a stronger spinach flavor than some of the other variations I've tried, and it was not overly creamy which I appreciated. The lamb chop masala came with onions & bell peppers which we didn't expect! Our only complaint about this dish was

Excellent! The restaurant was clean and the people were very friendly. The food selection was authentic and diverse. Curries, vegetarian, etc. I had the lamb tikka and my wife the chicken korma. Both were fantastic, and the spice level was perfectly balanced. The garlic nan was the perfect side. Don't forget to try the hot chai... excellent! Highly recommend.

I went back a second time. Still excellent. Have a new go to for good food!

Bizarre and disappointing experience here tonight, apparently they don't need or want your business!

While at the grocery store near by, we called to place an order at 8:30 pm. We were on hold for 7 minutes, which is kinda ridiculous for a restaurant, before finally giving up because we have to check out at the grocery store. Call back again, only hold noises. Same after trying a few more times, can't get through to anyone.

Still craving Indian food, we decide to go place an order in person. Wife goes in, and no one will take her order. She approached an older man behind the counter

Don't let the name or location fool you, these guys make amazing Indian food. We ate here for the first time last night and everything we ordered was amazing. Our meal included butter chicken, chicken saag, lamb curry, and samosas. So great!

We cannot wait to go back.

If you order online please do so using the restaurants website and not Grubhub. They take as much as 35% of the bill which is a total rip off.
