The Chinese restaurant is has bad customer service. I never had Egg drop Soup and wanted to try a small sample. She said no. If I like egg...you should like. Lady please!!!!

I wanted to try something new.

We have passed once before due to no car out front. However, this time we took a chance based on other reviews. Finally found a place with good food. Highly recomend.

Good Chinese restaurant at a great price! Won ton soup and shrimp fried rice are two of my favorites!

Cute, clean location. Great lunch specials, but not great food. It's an order at the counter place too so there's little service. I would not recommend the Mongolian beef because there is more onion than beef.

It's a solid tasting reasonably priced place . The food is fair, not anything I would crave but for the lunch time price, food serving size, speed of service, and friendliness of the employees it makes it a great choice. I will return to try other items.

If you haven't tried this place, great food cooked fast and always delicious... They have a great lunch deal during the week...owners are always super friendly

I've been going to Z&T's for years and they never disappoint.  My husband and I have been so many times, that they sometimes already know what we are going to order. The staff is very friendly, the food is great and I've never had an incorrect order. A time or two in the past, I've tried other Chinese restaurants.  Silly me... because they never have added up.  It's a bit of a drive for me but Z&T's is always worth it.

Best food ever! I’ve been a regular costumer since the day they opened. Not only is the food really but the place is always so clean and I will only eat at restaurants that look clean.

The staff is super friendly.

I usually buy lunch and and dinner when I'm there because it's just so yummy!!

The food was good, very generic for Chinese food. Only real complaint is the prices were extreme for a dinner.
Chicken Cashew $12.99 - good amount of vegetables & chicken, very few cashews and two mushroom slices.

Steamed Dumplings $6.99 - Good taste, adequate sauce.

Coke $2.49 - 20oz Bottle

We have been ordering from here for years. Great customer service and great food. Consistently good. We usually get delivery or occasionally pick-up. I'm embarrassed to say how often we get it delivered but very often.

We love this place. It's our go to restaurant. We've been dining here for years. Food is very good and authentic. The price is amazing. We used to eat there all the time before Covid-19, now we just do takeout. ** Friendly staff **

I have been going to this place for about as long as it's been open, and have never had a complaint. The food is always ready quickly, and I'd say the meals are fairly priced considering the massive portions they serve. My personal favorite is their Kung Pao chicken, which is a bit different from most restaurants, but absolutely delicious. This place is a must for me whenever I'm in town.

I went in and grabbed some wonton soup and spring rolls for my mom. The place is very clean and the smell of the wonderful food hits your nose when you first walk in.

They have an extremely extensive menu and are happy to answer questions about anything on the menu. Staff was super friendly and they all were wearing a face mask.

They also do a great job packing your food so that it doesn't spill or leak out in the bag. We will definitely be going back.

This is one of my favorite restaurants!!!! The food is outstanding and my fav is the Singapore Mei Fun. It has the right amount of kick to it and you get your money's worth. The staff is always nice and friendly and when you dine in it's quiet and not overly crowded ever even during lunch hour as most people order to go. Give them a try you will not be disappointed!!!

Good presentation; looks good, but tastes like plastic. I did not trust my food and did not finish as I felt that the food was going to make my stomach upset later.

Tried this place since it's close to my house. Really nice server behind the counter (Cindy)who was able to answer all my questions. Food is good quality, came out super fast (less than 10 minutes), and it was still super hot when I got it home to eat. They don't use any MSG in their food which I really appreciate. Will definitely go there again in the future when I want Chinese takeout.

Very Great selection of vegan or vegetarian choices their fried rice without eggs is delicious and their tofu with general TSO sauce is great! I also had their lo mein and their lo mein doesn't really have a spark in my opinion but everything else was good!

Greasy food and no pride in what they do. For example they buy their produce from Walmart next door EVERYDAY and are TOO LAZY to return the shopping cart the walk with from Walmart to their restaurant. Poor employees have to hike over to the restaurant and return the cart on a daily basis. AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs

This is the best Chinese food we've found in Katy and will be our new go-to. The hot and sour soup is very good! The food is flavorful, and there are plenty of options without the fried/breading overkill. For example, I had the Hunan chicken and everything was sautéed, including the chicken, no breading. Definitely recommend this place!

This is a convenient place to get a quick serving of Chinese food. The staff is attentive and the food comes up quickly. Cindy was vey helpful in assisting me as I was in my wheelchair. Be mindful that the pricing changes between lunch and dinner.

Got a lunch special to go...Kung Pao chicken with hot and sour soup, egg roll and fried rice. Unfortunately, every dish was very bland. The egg roll did not have any flavor and neither did the hot and sour soup. I asked for extra peanuts with my entree and she said it was $1 extra which I was fine with but upon reaching home, saw that I did not get extra peanuts.
Kung Pao is typically a spicy dish, with red chiles in it and this dish was sweet. Disappointed...

We decided to stop by for a casual dinner last weekend. I was craving Moo Shu pork and this place delivered! Probably some of the best Moo Shu I've ever had --- I ate most of it without the pancakes! My husband is on a diet, and was looking for something remotely healthy. He tried the Cashew Chicken with Brown rice. The dish was full of white meat chicken and cashews -- and to his delight, no broccoli-- but plenty of carrots and zucchini. I prefer fried potstickers but we decided try the steamed dumplings. They were perfect. It's a very basic seating situation. Nothing fancy. My recommendation

Not impressed with the food quality or taste. This is like the fast food of Chinese. Tried a few times and simply couldn't find something that tasted good. With a place like this, the food taste is pretty much the most important aspect of the business. It's small inside so it's uncomfortable for eating in. Sorry, but there are better places to eat Chinese food.

1. Place- Love the interior design. It is very rare to see a Chinese restaurant with an open kitchen for everyone to see. The place is modern and clean. Five stars.

2. Service- Very friendly service. Good service always make the meal more enjoyable. Five stars.

3. Food- Very good American Chinese food. I have tried beef lo mein, pepper steak with onion, fried dumplings, Hunan wings, orange chicken, egg rolls, and etc. I love the tenderness of the pepper steak. The seasoning was spot on. It is my favorite dish so far. Egg rolls were fried perfectly. It was so crispy! The fillings were delicious
