My first appointment at this dentist was amazing. The place is well kept, the employees are professional and very welcoming, the dentist I saw really listened to me and my concerns/questions. They helped me create a plan for payments if my insurance didn't cover everything. Also, I had my permanent retainer come loose and they fit me in same day. This place is definitely one I would recommend.

I haven’t had dental insurance for quite some time when I was finally able to get coverage I got consultations from multiple dentist and they all said I needed multiple root canals and I new that wasn’t the case. It has taken me a while to find a dentist who I trust to give me the right information and wasn’t just trying to scam me out of my money. Turns out they are just cavities. I am beyond happy with the outcome of my different dental procedures they had done. I really appreciate that they treat you with kindness, and give you accurate information they are willing to work out a payment

Excellent service, excellent staff, always. I've been going to Dr. Lum for years (15+ yrs...I can't remember exactly. It's been so long). I've been to the Kahala location, then their old Pearl City location, then back to the Kahala location when I lived town, and now that we live on the west side, the newly renovated Pearl City location. Most of my family goes to them. The entire staff is pleasant. Russelle has magic hands. She is so gentle yet so effective at cleaning your teeth. Dr. Lum is great and the few times I've had his daughter Dr. Lum have been really good experiences.
