I chose Madonia Restaurant and Bar for my daughter's bridal shower and am so happy that I did. The room was lovely. The tables were set in a very elegant manner. Most importantly, the food was delicious! The staff was friendly and so accommodating. Jacqueline visited to make sure everything was in place. Allen was so helpful and made sure each guest was pleased. The entire event ran smoothly and seamlessly! I will definitely be going back to plan future events. This place is a hidden gem in Stamford Connecticut!

Our party of six were welcomed from the moment we stepped inside and we received subtle yet attentive service during our experience at Madonia. When a drink was getting low or we were ready for the next course, our server Andrea or the manager Alan were table side!
We shared appetizers including: tuna tartare, mussels fra diavolo and calamari. They were tasty preludes to the delicious entrees. Four (of 6) entrees were the Branzino, we all opted for the lemon picatta sauce preparation which was really delicious. Ample portion of branzino, along with al dente carrots & green beans!

Food was fantastic, easy parking.Nice atmosphere and priced right considering the area in Stamford. As advertised food wise. The service on the other hand, wasn’t up to the standards of the food. We had a small dinner party celebrating multi holidays (America at its finest), and the reservation was for 7pm. 2 people were already seated and as we walked in at 7:05, the server plainly stated, “are you ready to order? Do you know what you want?” This before we ordered a drink or appetizers. Yes, this is a busy season but to be put on the spot like this is unacceptable. Hopefully, you’ll get
