All our dinner entrees are served with a fresh garden salad accompanied by your choice of one of our homemade dressings. Our Famous House Dressing (an Italian vinaigrette with a hint of crumbled bleu cheese), Garlic Ranch, Creamy Bleu Cheese or Russian. Sliced eggplant lightly battered & baked with mozzarella cheese and finished with tomato sauce.
Boneless chicken breast dusted with seasoned flour and pan seared with shallots and capers finished in a white wine, lemon butter sauce. Hand cut veal, lightly breaded with our flavorful breadcrumbs, topped with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. A 16-ounce hand trimmed NY Strip Steak topped with our Montreal seasoning, then char grilled to order.

We were so looking forward to our usual awesome dinners and were seriously shocked at the ridiculous increase in pricing, not reflected in online menu. Then we were disappointed in the portions (smaller) and quality. Waitress was wonderful, but we were so disappointed with massive price increase and food. My smaller NY strip was like $57! Been a patron for decades and never had this experience before.

Went for the first time this month and went back again because it's so good. The chicken parm is huge and comes with a salad. Next time I had their special, Chicken Joseph. Try the clams bianco(?) - clams on the shell with a lovely broth complete with garlic toast to dip in the broth. All my guests raved about their food. Make sure to make a reservation - you'll need one.

Pennell’s was highly recommended by two local friends and they were spot on. A classic, local Italian restaurant and bar. Enjoyed a bottle of wine, house salads (wonderful!), pasta with meatballs (zesty/chunky marinara) and the cheese ravioli with the standard house marinara. Ate as much as we could and had plenty of leftovers. Both red sauces were outstanding. Only regret is I didn’t take a pic of the old school neon sign out front. Great place. We’ll return.
