Your pet can benefit greatly from regular wellness examinations or checkups. Wellness examinations provide an excellent opportunity for us to conduct a thorough physical examination which can help us identify medical problems. Although humans and animals are different in many ways, some advances in human medicine are also very useful for veterinary patients.
Dental disease is the most common disease affecting dogs and cats. Dental pain and infection are often present without a pet exhibiting any symptoms. Because of this, regular professional evaluation and cleaning under anesthesia is important to maintain your pet's health. The teeth are evaluated by probing under the gumline and using dental x-rays.

Horrible service. Useless staff, they never go what’s going on, refuse to ask for help when they don’t know something. Diane will hang up on you after being rude.
Vet barely takes any time with our dog. When we had her kenneled there for a trip she was shell shocked afterwards. She was really scared and skiddish. We ended up switching, it just wasn’t worth it

Churchill Veterinary Hospital has been a true blessing for our family! Words cannot express our gratitude. We have been taking our dogs here for years. They are always extremely professional and super loving. Recently, we had a puppy fall suddenly very ill. Dr. Mauldin was always honest, kind and demonstrated exceptional expertise with navigating his recovery. The vet techs are knowledgeable and caring and were integral to his recovery as well. The recommendations and follow ups were sincere and appreciated while our little guy was away from home. I simply cannot recommend Dr. Mauldin and his staff

All I did was go by to get some medicine for our dog. I called first and told the receptionist I needed to pick up a refill prescription. I paid over the phone and by the time I got there it was ready. I called them from the parking lot and the young lady brought the medicine out to my car. I wish other places were as well organized as this was.

Churchill Veterinary Hospital has been our pet's primary care since before it moved to it's current location many years ago. The staff are kind, empathetic, genuinely love animals, and know that our pets are our family.
Dr. Mauldin is a great person with an upbeat attitude. He is honest about sometimes difficult situations and he doesn't hesitate to reach out to other veterinarians when one of our pets is in great need. I am so thankful for all that the wonderful people at Churchill Veterinary Hospital do and have done to help my pets be at their best.
