Greg Tindell opened GT Discount Tire Pros in 1977. When he originally opened, he had full service gas pumps. He closed the gas pumps in 1996 and opened the Express Lube center. The service center opened around 1980. Dusty, Greg's son, started his career at G.T. Tire in 1998 while a sophomore in high school.

They are the RUDEST people I've never dealt with. EVERY time I call abd ask if they have this or that OR even stopping by, the guys there brush you off and NEVER help you. I guess I don't have enough money for them or don't drive the right car. Go to B&R auto right down the road. B&R are wonderful people. Friendly. Will NEVER go back to GT again. Hell they've they've never helped to begin with. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

GT Tire is a friendly and honest business. I have used them for 15 plus years. I have bought numerous sets of tires with great prices and service. I have taken vehicles for repair. They have either repaired it for a fair price or told me that a dealership could do it for less because of the complexity. They are honest and fair in all of my experiences!!

This is a review of GT discount tire in Norris. We have had at least 3 sets of tires put on by them if not more. Today I look down and there is a nail in my tire. No problem I thought I will run up there and have them fix it. I get up there and they say sorry we don’t have time and we will have to just work you in sometime tomorrow. It doesn’t… take much time at all to fix a nail in a tire. Worst customer service ever. I mean you have to make exceptions for emergencies in any business. I am a woman that drives my kids around and all he can do is put air in it and “work

Such a great place to bring your vehicle. Mechanics do a great job, tire replacements are a good price, and service desk is very helpful to make sure everything you needed was done. As a female, I have a trust issue when having my car looked at. Kudos to these guys for believing honesty and great service are the benchmark for doing business.

They could start by not ripping people off & laughing about it. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy! The mechanic got finished putting brakes on our car. And he didn't realize my husband was behind him. The mechanic told the "manager, the brakes he took off were as good as the ones he out on! So we wasted $100. They could have told my… husband that it wasn't the brakes. My husband isn't a mechanic. My husband called them & told them he thought that was wrong. They didn't care. They ripped us off & got away with it. My husband told Dennis we would give them a bad review

A great place to take your cars! The owners are very nice and their quality is some of the best. They have very competitive prices and their tire warranty plan is hard to beat. They always go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I'm always in and out of there really quick. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I wish I could give -5 stars.
I went to GT for an alignment. They came out and told me my ball joints were about to break, and wanted to charge me $550. I told them I don't have that much money, and they said they could just do the one that was really bad for $350. They heard me on the phone talking about how I wasn't going to be able to pay the mortgage. I made an appointment for the next morning. They claimed I shouldn't even be driving my truck around town. Too dangerous, they said.
Your truck could end up on the pavement, they said. The wheel could fall off any time.

I noticed a small problem with my vehicle after routine oil & filter service here. Later, discussed issue with owners who agreed to help resolve. Then realized the problem was not due to any work they had performed but they were willing to replace a small part anyway for good customer relations.
This was above and beyond their responsibility and normal wear and tear to my car. So, don't take advantage of course but know these are really good folks who value your vehicle and business.

I've used GT tires for a few years, and have had good experiences with them (several oil changes etc). The workers are friendly and will explain things to you. However, I went on a Saturday to get my brakes worked on but their brake service employees aren't there on Saturdays, so instead they had someone else look at them and give me an estimate on the price. After a while he returned and told me I only needed the front pads replaced, and it would be $180. I wanted to make sure they checked the rotors, and he said "they don't need replacing. we can turn them for you and it&apos

They have worked on my many cars (mostly older, used, cars I've bought) and I have had them perform, probably 50 (or more) different jobs on my cars (not including all the oil changes). Greg and his team are the most customer-focused auto repair shop I've ever dealt with.
I could go on and on, but I will leave it at that. If you have an auto need, go to these guys!

I just don't like this place, never have.
The people who own it are nice enough, but the employees just aren't careful at all when they work on your vehicle. I've taken a car here twice, and both times left with wheels that were severely scarred and scratch marks all over the paint around the wheel-wells.
Just too sloppy. Too many other places around to put up with careless workmanship like this.
