Dr. Dustin grew up nearby in Westminster and received his Bachelor's degree in Physiological Science from UCLA. After graduation, Dr. Dustin traded year-round sunshine for harsh Boston winters when he attended the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During his time at Tufts, Dr. Dustin met Dr. Emily, and they've practiced dentistry together ever since.

During my routine dental exam, a cavity in need of treatment was discovered. An appointment to treat the cavity was made for the following week. I became a nervous wreck just thinking about the dental appointment. I hadnât had a cavity in over 20 years! When I arrived for my appointment, my anxiety was in overdrive. Fortunately, my appointment was with Dr Dustin Dodds at Dodds Dental in Long Beach. Dr Dodds and his assistant, Arely, were very understanding and put me at ease right away. I didnât even feel the ânumbing shot,â and the procedure (filling) went very well. I experienced no pain

I am glad I found this dental office. Both dentists have done great work with my teeth with minimal discomfort. Everyone at this office is kind and professional but I would particularly like to shout out Donna. She is a wonderful hygienist and takes care with everything she does. She went out of her way to make me comfortable during my X-rays and cleanings on both this most recent appointment, and the ones prior. Her gentle touch and genuine concern make for a calming visit and I really appreciate that!

Why invest in the Dodds? Because you can not afford to lose your teeth! Plain and simple. I lost my dentist of nearly 20 years to retirement, and was not happy about going elsewhere, because of my previously horrible experience with other dentists prior. The Dodds came up on a search, and through another referral, it was meant to be! I called them 2 years ago for an extraction and implant, and that turned into other work that has literally brought back years of health to my overall dental care. Iâm a fairly new patient with Doddâs Dental, been with them for less than a year, and theyâve really been so wonderful. I hadnât been to the dentist in years before this and was terrified of coming back in, but they were wonderful about easing my concerns & worries and really making me feel comfortable there.
