I offer psychotherapy for teens and adults. I have special knowledge working in the areas of adoption, trauma, anxiety, attachment, mood disorders and relationship issues. I will bring a holistic, mind-body, and integrative approach to addressing your needs in order to help facilitate the change you have been looking for in your life or your teen's life.
Services
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed by the State of Michigan (#6801092191). I received my Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree from Michigan State University. I am trained and experienced in providing psychotherapy with individuals, families, and in groups with children, adolescents, and adults.
Does your teen struggle with mood swings which are out of control, boundary problems, and/or not understand proper interpersonal relationships? Maybe you have seen a negative change in behavior and your home lacks family peace. Anyone can make changes to their life, but it can feel overwhelming to face those problems alone.
Anyone can make changes to their life, but it can feel overwhelming to face those problems alone. Together, we will try to understand what is really underlying your teen's struggle. When you understand what's going on, you are able to better support them in reaching their full potential.

I use an integrative and holistic approach, in that, I apply several techniques and strategies when working with teens in order to provide the best care based on their individual needs, so that together we can unearth behaviors that may prohibit change.
It can be difficult to solve these problems by yourself. But you don't have to do it alone. Expressing your thoughts and feelings with a professional therapist in a safe, trusting atmosphere can help you find the courage to change and promote healing. During individual therapy sessions, we will work one-on-one to develop a plan based on your own personal goals for change.
Do you feel extra sensitive to rejection, loss, acceptance, trust, connection, and belonging issues? Have you felt you lived with the lifelong decision and experience of being separated from your birth son or daughter, and feel confused about search and reunion? Do you question how you will heal and make peace with your adoption story so that you can move on with your life?
