Inspired by her previous occupation as an Early Childhood Education Health Consultant, our owner, Rose St. Paul, an Award Winning, Haitian-American, Children's Book Author, created a series titled, "The Adventures of Mari Lou, " which focuses on childhood health and wellness. The first book of the series, "No Junk Food Zone" made such an impact in her community, Rose decided to dedicate the name to the wellness center.

As part of our efforts to provide health and wellness to the community, No Junk Food Zone's main objective is promoting preventative healthcare education and overall wellness of the people we serve. Diet and exercise need to be balanced in order to achieve successful weight loss. You can exercise as much as you'd like but if you are not eating healthy foods, you will not receive the full benefit of weight loss, and vice versa.
Services
We help people set achievable health goals and teach various ways of maintaining these goals throughout their lifetime. Individualized exercise prescription and instruction. We motivate clients by setting goals and providing feedback and accountability to clients. We use evidence-based family training techniques that can help improve the quality of family life.
No Junk Food Zone is a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), providing preventative health and wellness services to the communities, agencies and private companies we serve. We are also an established Department on Disability Services Medicaid Waiver Provider in DC.

As part of our efforts to provide health and wellness to the masses, No Junk Food Zone's main objective is promoting person-centered, preventative healthcare education and overall wellness of the people we serve.We accomplish this through partnerships with local agencies in the communities where we provide services.
No Junk Food Zone's Herb Infused Cooking Oil should be stored in the bottle in which you received it in, in a cool, dry, place, away from the heat and sunlight. Only the Canola oil can be used for frying. The Avocado, Chili and Olive oils are used best for sauteing, boiling, baking and as a dipping sauce or dressing.
