What a wonderful find. I have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile. It did not disappoint. The food was amazing. The ambiance was amazing. I would differently request a table outside. My only complaint it took our main dish longer to come out than it should. I will definitely try this restaurant again. Great place for date night!

Vic & Ola's is an Italian type restaurant located in North Scottsdale. It's a very small restaurant so you should have a reservation or you can wait for a bar seat to be available. I made my reservation and was seated outside (In the cold...I would have brought a coat if I knew I'd be outside). The menu offers a lot of variety (The usual Italian fair), a lot of seafood and Calabrian Chilies in many of the dishes.
Short Story - The Food can be HIT or sort of miss.
Longer story-
They started us off with very good cold bread and herb butter.
More than once we enjoyed the Long

Another great night at Vic and Olas. The patio is wonderful and the food delicious. We love the meatballs and/or the sausage and peppers to start. You can’t go wrong with the lasagna, pork chops and chicken saltimbocca. Thank you Monica for your great management and for taking such great care of us. Brennan does such a great job assisting the serving staff. He is always professional, brings us bread, water and clears our table with great efficiency.
Jennifer did a great job as our server. Everything came out perfect under her direction. Thank you Monica and team for another great evening!

This was our first visit to Vic & Ola's. The restaurant is part of a restaurant group that includes Soul Cafe and Alma's. It has been open for about a year and a half and is located in a beautiful space across from Fleming's in D.C. Ranch. The decor is lovely. Elegant, without being stuffy and very comfortable. We had a reservation and were seated within a few minutes. Our server, Tyler, was a very nice young man and very knowledgeable about the menu and wines offered.

Wow, wow and wow.
That's 5 stars and three wows.
Moved here 5 years ago and have found some good Italian restaurants, but nothing amazing...until now.
First wow. Outdoor patio at night is magical especially near the big fireplace.
Second wow. The service, super friendly and just the right amount of interaction and help with the Italian wines.
Third wow. The food was innovative, flavorful and well portioned. The lasagna was hearty and comforting like a lasagna should be. The butternut squash ravioli paired with the cream sauce and arugula perfectly balanced the sweet of the squash

EAT HERE! My husband and I had the pleasure of eating here on the last night of our vacation! For me this was one of the best dinners I have ever eaten at any restaurant! And I have worked in an Italian restaurant lol 😂 I didn’t know what to order and our waiter suggested the Halibut. Well he was spot on! It was amazing! The restaurant was beautiful, the staff was friendly, service was excellent and the food was amazing! My husband had the lasagna and he said it was almost as good as mine which is the correct answer for a husband to give lol. So the lasagna must have been excellent as well

Honestly, I don't understand why the reviews are so high. I would rate our experience based on food only as a solid 3.
Started with the Burrata it was average...no flavor, Tomatoes were hard and under ripe.
I'm not a BIG complainer but from start to finish our dinner took nearly two hours. Shouldn't have, yes all restaurants are under staff, so don't fill them up:(
We sat outside and it was very crowded, no covid spacing at all. More patrons than staff could handle. Food was very average, nothing special, we ordered a bottle of super Tuscan wine, which you can&apos

It was a nice and breezy evening when we decided to visit the DC market place for a Saturday evening stroll with friends and family , kids in tow and all. The kids wanted to eat at Grimaldis and we dragged them here. We didn’t know at the time that Vic and Ola’s gets crowded and they need a reservation to seat you. Almost all the patrons were dressed up and it felt like a restraunt where people would like to be seen at.. or seen with. The well lit ambience and polite service staff added to the place’s mystique. The manager was nice enough to seat us outside in the lawn area - even though

We have been passing by for a while now amd finally made the reservation! Love the ambiance and the service was excellent! If your a red wine drinker you must try the Kiruna Montepulciano D'Abruzzo! Everything was delicious but unfortunately I forgot the pics before we started eating. We had the Eggplant Meatballs and the Branzino as an appetizer, delicious! One of us had the Salmon Tortellini, one had the Ravioli Di Zucca, and one had the Pollo Saltimbocca. Everything was absolutely delicious. Confession, the Pollo Saltimbocca was not my husband's favorite, mostly because it wasn't what he thought

The ambience is unmatched. Fine details on the patio really make this Italian restaurant worth visiting. All the staff is very friendly and easy to talk to, from your server to those removing your plates. They pay attention to detail, making sure you have the correct silverware and are knowledgeable in menu items.
I have to say, inside is small, loud and bustling with activity from the kitchen. I personally don't think I would dine inside bc if those reasons.
Food is so well done, brava! Interesting cocktails, and Italian beers even my husband has never had before. Thank you for being

This is really our most favorite restaurant in Scottsdale. We come back every time we are in town. Anthony is just lovely, very polite and eager to help. Our 12 year old said he's the best waitstaff he has ever met lol.
The lobster risotto and lasagna are so good; we love to try new dishes but these are the two dishes we keep coming back for!!! We did try the lamb chops and it was perfect. Our picky child was the one who ordered it and he ate it all up.
The decor and ambiance are beautiful. Come causal or come dressed up, it really doesn't matter because the vibe is that versatile

Had an AHHHHMAZING dinner here. First off, Adam is such a wonderful server- so personable, accommodating and a great conversationalist. Everyone there was friendly and hospitable.
The food was absolutely remarkable. From the fresh fish to the homemade pastas and a lasagna that my Italian grandmother would approve! The Bronzino was so light and the perfect meal when you want to avoid heavy sauces and butters. The portions are generous, and the butter cake was remarkable. Save some room for it!

Would give more stars if I could... let's start out by the minute you walk in the door. Greeted by genuine, nice souls that actually seem happy to be there. Get seated right away- water immediately, bread, and a really pleasant atmosphere. If it wasn't hot outside, would have requested their adorable outdoor patio. The food was pristine and the chocolate martini was just fabulous. One of the best I've had. The meatballs are a MUST. And the Lasagna Bolognese was to die for. Best meal I've had in a very long time and I fine dine quite a bit ;) thank you Vic & Ola's for

Service is absolutely wonderful. I don’t take any pleasure in this review at all though. The food is absolutely worse than Olive Garden. It hurts to say it but they know this is true in the kitchen. If someone told me the whole kitchen had covid and it was filled in last night with my teenage kids I would believe it without a second thought. Carbonara with fettuccine noodles? Big chunks of salmon in tortellini? Even the bread was bland. Trader Joe’s burrata. The bright spot was the deserts and the sauces. These guys know what they are doing clearly because the sauces were wonderful and perplexing

It's been a very long time since a meal was fantastic from beginning to end. The bread is downright amazing and if that feels like a harbinger of what's coming, I assure you that it is.
Since our last visit, they've added salt and pepper to the tables (thank you) and tweaked the menu a bit.
My lobster risotto was a giant bowl of amazingness that made me forget 2020, my partner of 27 years and where I currently was. I have never been so excited to share leftovers before. We got the butter cake for dessert and it too was stunning. My partner and I locked eyes over it and stopped

I came here to enjoy their Happy Hour and try multiple things off their menu. The restaurant was really nice and had ample outdoor dining, cooling mist and great bar seating options too. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. The Little Bambino cocktail is a delicious take that reminds me of a Mint Julep, but more refreshing with the Ginger infused simple syrup and the rose lemonade makes it a perfect summer drink.
For food, I ordered - they came in smaller portions, but only 2/3rds smaller, so you're definitely getting a great deal:
Frittelle di Polenta - The dish was made really

This was a combo birthday/Mother's Day dinner for four. We started with Sal's Polpettes and some Buratta & Heirloom Tomatoes with a bottle of Prosecco for appetizers, all of which were great.
For the main course the ladies were headed for the Branzino, which is a European sea bass ... but our server Julio informed them it's served with the skin on so they both switched to the Halibut dinner. The guys had the Veal Osso Buco. The dinner wine was a 2015 Chianti Classico (Peroni for the lone non-wine enthusiast in the group). Everyone was happy with their choices. Dessert consisted of a shared Buttercake

Big outdoor patio with heaters, perfect for 'winter' and covid time. The pasta dishes we ordered were all good -- everyone got something different and they had their own appeal. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked.
The waiter was amazing, fun and chatty guy! Can make you laugh and you can tell he loves his job.
Would definitely recommend this place!
