Golf Inc. magazine annually recognizes top public and private, new and remodeled clubhouses in their July/August issue. In 2019, a total of nine new public and private clubhouses were honored by the industry-leading publication. The location itself is amazing and beautiful, especially for a non-local who doesn't get to experience these Arizona views (we happened to be there at sunset) every day. For some, that may he worth the visit. Outdoor seating was generous and charmingly heated with fire pits and gas lamps. Where this place fell down on our visit was the food. Drink selections looked good but they ran out of some ingredient in the seasonal old fashioned on the menu so I had to settle. The queso was thin. The cubano panini was dry; I think the chef may have forgotten to put mustard on it, and because it was a panini

I keep coming back here bcuz the view is excellent but this was my last time. I returned a sangria I didn’t like (too sweet and no fruit) which I don’t typically do. I ordered their Cabernet which was good. I ordered their slice of pizza and it came out with almost half of it was crust. When I tried returning it the bartender needed his manager. She said she was only refunding the sangria. I tried showing her how the slice of pizza was all crust and she said “we’ll agree to disagree”. Not only do they have sketchy food but their service is unprofessional.

What is so awesome about Lou's is that there is something for everyone. I've been here twice now and both times I was in awe of the range of groups here.
Groups finishing up with golfing, families with small children, birthday parties, bachelor/batchlorette groups, etc.
I love that there is something for everyone. Small groupings of couches, rocking chairs, relaxing club chairs, big tables and two top tables.
Good food, extensive beer list and great service. A lot to love about Lou's.

I love this place!!! Live music regularly, amazing views, great service and delicious food! We recently had a birthday party there and had Sophia as our server and she was amazing. It was a large group and she worked very hard and treated everyone really well.
I'd recommend hosting events here and working with Joe and Kelly. They truly know how to treat a customer and make an event an amazing experience for all of the guests.

Love this place! Have been here several times for events or just to hang out and have some food and drinks with friends. We were just here this past Saturday for a birthday party and coaching celebration for Sean Payton. Our server Sophia she was super sweet and had excellent customerservice. I absolutely love the atmosphere! The staff is great and always friendly. The food and drinks are so good and yummy. The wings and pizza were awesome. If you have not been here, you should give it a try! You won't regret it. Looking forward to our next visit to Lou's with the crew!

Papago Golf Course is no longer just for golfers! We had an early dinner at Lou's and we're very impressed! A beautiful environment with a sunset in the West and the red buttes on the East. You can sit out on the big patio in rocking chairs or sit on comfy couches around a fire pit. We started with Margaritas then split a Cubano sandwich with a Caesar side salad. It was perfect! The diners appeared to be non-golfers and were there just to enjoy the evening, celebrate something or have a good dinner. We'll return... 'cause they have live music too!

Came in for lunch because the great taco reviews, I was NOT disappointed!! The dining room was full so I had to sit at the bar, Lindsey took amazing care of me!! Made me feel so welcome. She suggested the chicken tacos which were fabulous!! I will come back not only for the food but the great service by her! Highly recommend!!

Had lunch after a round of golf at Papago. Ordered some bone-in honey hot wings, and lemonade. First, the lemonade was excellent. The wings were very good. Had plenty of meat, great taste, and it wasn't to hot. Even though it was very busy, the service was spot on. I can see why people like hanging out here. Great food and drinks. With an amazing view.

Lindsey the bartender is so sweet and kind. When we asked to turn on the local team, the Suns, in their conference finals, she graciouly explained that the awkward musical duo was on until 7:30 pm. When they finally finished she promptly turned the sound on so we could watch our local team.

Bartender Lindsey is very unethical. She automatically added a gratuity to my bill (see image attached), even though I ordered at the bar, and was NOT with a party of 6.
Lindsey is extremely unfriendly. Asked her two questions related to what beer was on tap (I couldn't see the beer handles), each time she was vividly annoyed with my questions. She kept saying one of the beer tap handle was Kilt Lifter, even though I knew it wasn't since the handle was orange color. AWFUL AWFUL service!

My first time at Lou's. The views are really nice especially at sunset. The patio and golf course views have a similar feel to Isabella's Kitchen if you've been there.
I cannot comment on the food as I was there for drinks. The drinks are adequate, but it's the view that you really go there for. The Papago rock formations look so amazing as the sun is setting and it nice to look out on green manicured landscaping.
Do check this place out if you are looking for somewhere new to see an amazing sunset
