The fitness department offers a variety of options. With state-of-the-art gym equipment and weekly group exercise classes, HFFA has something to meet the needs of everyone. HFFA is the only public facility in the Southeast with an Olympic-sized, 50-meter competition pool and 10-meter dive tower. The space hosts aquatic events for regional, national, and world-class swim and dive competitions.

Built in 2001, the 88,000-square-foot Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics facility provides full aquatic and fitness amenities for the whole family! At HFFA, we provide ourselves on our aquatic offerings, fitness programs, and commitment to members!

HFFA offers up-to-date cardio and resistance training equipment, as well as a free weight training area. With our range of options, we have something for everyone! Training camp is the answer to building the athletic framework you need to succeed on the field or on the court. Our staff has spent years training all levels of athletes from the NFL to Elementary school and anywhere in-between!
Our Small Group Personal Training programs offer the benefits of a personal trainer in a focused setting with the motivation and encouragement of a team! They are capped at five people per class so you can focus on exercises designed to meet your needs, and enjoy a workout with friends to become stronger together!
HFFA is proud to host a number of swim meets for the Southeast region. These exciting competitions bring swimmers from all over the state. The swim meets occur in our 50M pool and typically utilize half of the pool, leaving the other half form member lane swimming. However, there are some meets that utilize the full pool!
Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics is proud to offer American Red Cross certified classes to our members and the public. We offer a variety of different classes to ensure that every member can receive the training they need. Want to be a babysitter? Make sure you are properly trained for any situation that can occur while watching anyone's child.

I am not a member. I went to check out possible membership as i work two minutes from this facility.
Price shock $775 a year for an individual member to swim and workout seemed expensive.
The facility looked extremely well kept. Main Pool 50 or 100 meter setup. Unheated. This pool looked well cared for by competant staff. Secondary smaller pool looked very well used. This is a 25 meter heated pool. Lots of kids in lots of classes. Weight room has lots and lots of high quality professional grade equipment. Looks like they could easily accommodate 3-4 times the number of current members.

Been a member here for 21 years, and have gotten to know the trainers and staff, as well as make quite a few friends here. I look forward to coming to workout because this place has such a good vibe. Have done group exercise classes, personal training with Brandon and Ian, and leave feeling better than I did when I entered! Great place!!

If you are seeking somewhere to swim and need childcare this would be a great option but their weight room leaves much to be desired. My wife got roped into signing us up for a year. We won’t be renewing after this one as I primarily use these types of facilities for weight lifting and have found much better resources at the local YMCA. Also, they have a mask mandate so that’s fun for those of us that have their vaccination.

They are not working with people in these troubled times and only care about the money. My account was supposed to be frozen “indefinitely” or until I came in and used the facilities, but that changed out of the blue with barely a notice. They charged me, overdrafted my bank account, and would do nothing to help but offer another charge to… re-freeze the membership for a service I haven’t used since February. Not to mention they plan to charge full price for the next month after you cancel, even in these times. DO NOT go here and DO NOT sign any contracts they put in front
