We offer routine bathing at Briargrove Animal Clinic, including medicated baths, nail trims, and summer clips or pets who need to be shaved for medical treatment. We have limited boarding available. We offer boarding to our established clients with pets who are not a good fit for the general boarding facilities.

Dental health is an important part of your pet's overall health and dental disease can lead to other health problems. Your pet's teeth and gums should be checked by your veterinarian to check for early signs of a problem.

Services
Dr. Kurtz grew up in Fayetteville, Texas, and attended Texas A&M for undergraduate and veterinary school. After working for a few years in New Jersey, she returned to Texas to join Briargrove Animal Clinic in 2011. Dr. Kurtz's veterinary interests include surgery, client education, and preventive medicine.

Staff is Amazing. I came in as a walk in in tears and a nervous wreck worried about my fur baby. I am not from the area. I found the clinic frantically driving to find a vet. Staff was very kind even in my moment of panic. Surprisingly they are also very affordable. I appreciate staff being very empathetic and sympathetic about my concerns. I highly recommend bringing your fur babies here! I was so excited to hear my boy Prince Charming is ok, I dropped my debit card in the lobby and staff called me immediately!

We recently made an appointment for a unexpected visit as new patient . Clinical Staff was very accommodating got us in same day. They asked for medical records to be transferred and process was very easy. Dr.Lee was very thorough in her exam. Dr.Lee’s assistant(Dennis) handled my PITBULL with care. Dennis is very efficient by the time Dr.Lee consult was done Dennis had all my pups meds ready to go. This office is very Thorough, fast in a good way and will definitely be transferring for long term care of my pup.

I’ve taken a few animals here over the years. Back when it was a smaller establishment, and now when they’ve done a complete ground up remodel. It’s a fantastic facility, with amazing and caring vets, techs, and everyone else. They also don’t break your bank account, as their fees are very competitive. I reall can’t say enough about them.
If you live in this area, or even don’t mind the drive from wherever, be sure to give them a try. You will be happy with your choice. : )

They've recently completed a whole new building with added parking, that I'm looking to check out inside, once they open it up post Covid.
I've found the vets are very capable, understanding and genuinely concerned with your pet, in that they will call back to check on your dog/puppy to follow-up on any recovery. I've also found at least to me they don't push you on to their products but give you good sound counsel. I also like that they don't rush you to spay or neuter right away but are understanding of the key hormonal benefits not to rush to do this procedure

Dr. Lee is so kind, responsive and professional. Due to Covid they have a curbside drop and wait service and my dog Tex had no anxiety about going in alone. Dr. Lee stepped outside to give me an update and to make sure we had no concerns before Tex was brought back to me. The doctor has no knowledge or concerns caused my dog to lose her eye instead of giving emergency appointment to specialties let her over weekend to be seen as a regular patient

My husband recently tried to take my small dogs to this vet and they did not want the dogs to enter the vet at their scheduled time. Instead of calmly asking my husband to return to our car with our dogs, Sherly Ramos, an employee at this vet, frantically and rudely slammed the door in his face and THE DOOR WAS SLAMMED ON MY PUG'S FOOT in this process. I really like Dr Kurtz. I have the feeling she is a dog person and I'm a cat person, but she has always really seemed to get the situation. I've had good and bad outcomes with her, but so far never a regretful one.
The technicians seem genuinely fond of the animals and, one man, whose name I can never recall, is a cat whisperer. I wish I had his touch with my cats.

Dr. Kurtz genuinely cares and that's a rare quality these days. I should have written this review a long time ago, but for whatever reason I'm doing it now. The clinic has cared for three of my pets - Dux my German Shepherd, Sophie my small shepherd mix, and Zoe my Labradoodle.
Sophie was only two when she suddenly started limping. I brought her to the clinic where Dr. Kurtz took blood, performed tests and recommended a bone scan. Over the next month, she was diagnosed with aggressive bone cancer. Her time was limited. The

Needed to get some shots and flea medicine for my two cats. When I asked for a quote on yelp they answered very quickly and gave me a lot of information. The prices are decent so I booked an appointment the staff was very friendly and I was in and out which I like. The vet was fast and thorough but still caring. The only bad thing is that parking is a bit limited but overall it was a pleasant experience.

I am now a long time BAC client and have my third pet as a patient. I can't imagine going anywhere else! The entire staff treats my dog as she was their own. Dr. Kurtz is extremely knowledgeable and direct and their prices are very competitive.

Dr. Kelly is a gem! She is so great with my little puppers, Chibbs. She really takes the time to get to know you and your animal. I had an emergency situation a few months back and she was able to accommodate all the needs I had right away. She also took away my boys manhood and the process went very well and I had him back at home the same afternoon. She really treats you like a friend and I would not hesitate to recommend this animal clinic to anyone.

Wow oh wow what a 180 degree turnaround from my initial review! Posted 48 hours ago, I was very relieved that my cat was in the stages of being taken care of. It was determined that he had feline resorptive lesions (in the mouth at the gumline). I was told that if there was no improvement within 48 hours to call back to speak to the veterinarian to determine the next course of action. Dr. Kurtz is the best! She is no nonsense and gets right to the point with what's going on. She also takes time to explain to you exactly what is happening in easy to understand terms. My dog Eva came in with diarrhea and lethargy and she quickly diagnosed her as having pancreatitis. She then laid out exactly what had to be done and told me how to avoid this in the future. Eva stayed there for two days to get treatment and came home much happier.
