Columbine Animal Hospital is awesome!! On Monday July 12, 2021 I needed to find a vet who could see my dog asap! She had been very sick going on 5 days. I called multiple places that told me they had no immediate openings. When I called Columbine Animal Hospital they told me they could see that afternoon! YAY! The staff was so warm and friendly from the first phone call all the way through her aftercare. I was impressed by their friendliness, professionalism, and the warmth and care they showed to me and my baby, Chloe. Vet recommended fluids, a shot and some medicine to take home with us, and

Angel dog got her teeth cleaned this week. She was anesthetized and therefore a bit groggy, which was to be expected.. I was given a pre and post conference so I would know what to expect. Her teeth are so much better and so is her breath.. The treatment was exceptional and everyone at this animal care practice works hard and is very helpful.

We have been bringing our dogs to Dr. Perrow for years. She is very caring and professional. She really takes her time with her patients as well as the owners. She explains everything so we understand and feel comfortable with her recommendations. The staff at CAH is very good too and always gets us in in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Perrow and the team at Columbine Animal Hospital.

It’s been 5 days and still haven’t received a call back! I called during business hours and no one answered so I left a message regarding my dog possibly having an ear infection. Apparently this was not as important to you as it was me! Don’t worry about it! I found a vet that cares! You definitely lost my business!

Don't go here. My cat had an object stuck in his throat and was barely breathing. After several phone calls to the office with nobody answering I rushed him over there. (Understandable I guess with covid and being busy). They took 15-20 minutes to tell me to go somewhere else once I arrived with absolutely no sense of urgency at all - while my cat was dying. I then rushed to fox hollow and they were waiting outside for him when I arrived and were phenomenal. Highly recommend fox hollow and Dr. Ross over this place.

We had used Columbine animal hospital as our primary vet for the past 4 years. About two months ago we had an emergency with our dog and they took us in right away. After a couple of hours and $1200 later, we were sent to an Emergency hospital to save her life. The ER removed her spleen and after the pathology came back told us what to expect since she had an aggressive cancer. If the cancer moves to the lungs she would start coughing. Well after round three of chemo she started to cough and it worried me. I didn't want her to suffer if the cancer was moving to her lung. Since Columbine

Under new management. They don't seem to have the same kind of heart and love for their clients or the client's owners anymore. If you are looking for a new Vet, save yourself the heartache and go somewhere else. I have explained the situation to my family and friends and all agree they are not worth it.

Edit:
The response to this post is just ridiculous. My animal has been seen by a vet who prescribes the proper medication. There is no "fine tuning" of equipment when doing a blood-glucose test. I just needed a close location to have a test done at. I offered to get her records transferred which would have all the information you could have possibly needed but that wasn't taking enough money from me. You think you can make this sound complicated and get me to pay more. There's no reason you couldn't have done a blood-glucose test. If you cared about animals at all you would have done the test

Used to be a great vet's office. Took all my pets here for years. But lately it's been terrible. Rooms not cleaned in between patients and I had to walk out from 2 appointments after not even being seen. Made appts. to have a bump on my dog's shoulder looked at to make sure it wasn't cancer. First appt. we waited 30 minutes but no one came in the room to see us. We left. 2nd time we tried I waited almost a full hour past our appt. time and still no one came in the room to see my dog. Owner of practice was at the front desk when I came out of the exam room and explained to the

BEWARE over BILLING issues!!! Initially when we walked in we had a good feeling about this vet being new to the area. My girlfriend and I took her cat to Columbine that was showing signs of a muscle spasms or something unknown. They wanted us to go home and check there was no poison around the home that we didn't notice when we moved in. Before we left her cat there we said we weren't going to leave her and I quote "not if the bill was going to be $500" The doctor assured us that it wouldn't be. Nothing out of the ordinary at home, and the vet said she seemed ok and

If you have an emergency, this is the place to go. However, for routine care, you might want to look around.
First, the good: they did an amazing job saving my cat after he ate a foreign object in December 2017. Despite the first vet who saw him late at night being condescending and borderline nasty, the vets who ended up actually caring for him the following two days did a wonderful job. Yay to Dr. Kristy:)
Now, for the rest: I brought the same cat in for a routine checkup and dental. The first appointment was fine, but the dental left me wondering which monkey was let out to run this place

I brought my dog there and they charged me more than what I was quoted. I was almost threatened that I wouldn't be able to take my dog if I didn't pay the higher bill. I was treated horrible. I tried to talk to The so called manager and was treated horrible. Nothing was done to help my dog. I had to rush my dog to another vet the next day. She was hospitalized. I wasted money and time at this place.
