The vets and technicians are the most caring and professional people I have ever met. They cared for my very very spicy with a double scoop of bad attitude old cat and she is doing so so well. Highly recommend them, esp if you also have a grumpy baby.

I took a stray kitten that showed up to our house and needed medical attention to Southwoods because the shelter turned us away and multiple rescues that we called could not take the kitten in. Dr. Rebecca was amazing and provided me with all the information needed to get the kitten on the path to getting better. I have actually been looking for a new vet for my three dogs due to a few traumatizing experiences I’ve had with my dog at their current vet. I most definitely am considering changing to Southwoods because the vet that I spoke with was amazing and all of the staff that interacted with

I brought in a sick feral cat for for treatment. Unfortunately his condition was something that could not be treated, it was believed to have cancer. He had an awful infection on his face from all this. Poor guy was in extreme pain and could not eat or drink so he would of ended up starving to death. Unfortunately, the poor guy had to be humanity euthanized. It broke my heart but the vet, the tech and the rest of the hospital staff gave the most compassion to this poor little guy. As always, the staff at Southwoods has exceptional customer and pet care. While obviously pet care is the reason we seek out amazing institutions like this one, easing the minds of the pet owners is an important job as well. Everyone knows that feeling of bringing their pet in and worrying for their well being and what they can do to give them the best life possible--and at Southwoods, the staff constantly puts my mind at ease in that I'm doing the right thing for my pet. We switched to this Vet 1 year ago after moving to Pleasant Garden. Due to Covid, I was unable to go inside for the visits throughout the year, & despite those restrictions Southwoods has exceeded my expectations every time! Funnily enough, I also think my dog does better when I'm not with her.
They are thorough, prompt, professional and show great care! They answer my thousands of questions and are always doing their best to educate me on food, care, & treatment.
This is the first time in 8 years of having my dog that she enjoys going to the vet and I don't mind it either! Thank you to everyone

I’m so happy that I was able to get my 13 yr old seen on such a last minute notice. This was her first time ever being seen at Southwoods. I called and explained my situation about my past experiences with the last 2 vets and Southwoods was so compassionate about my concerns they allowed me to bring my dog in the same day under the circumstances. Dr McGregor and Lexi were so gentle and kind to my pet and I and I could feel the passion of dog love. I will be bringing my other 3 and when the time comes to put my sweet girl and boy to rest they have made feel really good about it… Thank you all

They are terrible!!! My dog was hit by a car. I had been taking my dogs to them for three years. They literally would NOT see her. They told me I would have to make an appointment for the next Friday, six days later knowing she was dragging her hip. Then they told me they wouldn’t even see her because she was an aggressive dog towards other dogs even though they have seen her for three years. These people do NOT care and I will never ever ever go there again. Don’t go there. This isn’t the first problem I have had with them either.

We took our dog, Nova, to Southwoods Animal Hospital for bilateral TPLO surgeries with MVSS. Nova was followed by Southwoods for all pre-op and post-op care and the team was amazing to work with and incredibly… caring! Dr. McGregor and Dr. Timmons made sure all of our questions were answered and took great care of our sweet girl! The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and you can tell they truly have a passion for working with animals. It was scary to have to find a new vet to work with when Nova needed surgery, but the team at Southwoods made this process smooth and easy and helped us through

My dog went for boarding and grooming 2 weeks ago. The boarding was fine with no issues but the grooming was something else. I call to tell the groomer how I wanted my baby (yorkie) cut. I clearly stated I… wanted his eyes low cause his hair grows faster in that area. When I pick my dog he was bald with hair on the ears and tail only. I was so confused. Not to mention my baby had a cut on his nose. Did not say anything to me. Which was not acceptable. Plus its getting cold so I don't know why Lisa would cut it so low. So without a word. I paid. I thank the lady and put a mental note not
