Dr. Jacquelin Gentry's passion for animal care began at a very young age. It was a childhood desire of hers to care for children and animals, which is why in the 7th grade she decided to become a veterinarian.
Gentry graduated from North Carolina State University in 1991 with a BD in Zoology and then again from NC State in 1995 with a DVM. She has been practicing in Greensboro since graduating in 1995. Gentry joined the Animal Clinic of Friendly Center in 2000. Her priority is to provide compassionate care by developing relationships with clients and their pets.

I've been going to Animal Clinic of Friendly Center for a few years now! I love everything about it, everyone here is so friendly & knowledgeable & professional. They have squeezed me in between appointments before when something scary is happening with one of my pets (like when Bagheera had a UTI & blockage) and they always follow up after sending home a recovering patient. Dr. Gentry is amazing & even performed a neuter on my pet rat a few years back. This team is truly the best--i had jumped around different vets before someone recommended this place and I haven't been anywhere else since.

Hands down, this is the best vet experience that money can buy! I am beyond pleased with Dr. Gentry and her amazing staff, that go out of there way to be helpful, supportive, and cost efficient! Kudos to her office, and this is the only vet in Greensboro that I will be using from this point forward.

The entire team at Animal Clinic of Friendly Center are excellent to work with. Dr Gentry and her team are like family and have taken care of all of our pets over the years. We've had four German Shepherds and more cats than I can remember. They have always had THE BEST of CARE at this clinic. We are very grateful to have such a fantastic animal clinic to care for our furry children.
