Dr. Elizabeth G. Murray and Dr. Ron Murray were both tending animals from a very young age, and today they continue to maintain a family farm. In addition to veterinary care for dogs and cats, our veterinarian Dr. Elizabeth Murray also sees pocket pets. Brian joined the team in March of 2021. He works as a Veterinary Assistant lending a helping hand to the doctors and caring for the patient's needs. Brian has a German Shepherd named 'Alaska' (seen in his picture) and a white cat named 'Camilla.' When not spending time with his family, friends or pets, Brian enjoys playing the piano.
West Market Veterinary Hospital can provide your pet with a lifetime's worth of health and wellness care. Yearly Exams - Yearly exams are essential for catching any health threats as early as possible. Our veterinarian in Greensboro performs careful internal and external evaluations, from looking at the eyes and eyes to running laboratory tests and checking vital signs.
At the age of six, Dr. Elizabeth Murray was already saying that she was going to be a veterinarian when she grew up. Animals have always been a big part of her life and when she was a child collected stuffed animals instead of Barbies or dolls. At the age of 14, she had her first experience working with animals, by volunteering at the Humane Society in her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama.
If you're thinking of getting a pet fish, you should know that your veterinarian has a lot of good advice about pet ownership. Fish can be very rewarding as pets, and you just may be surprised about how much fish actually interact with their owners. Here's more valuable information about choosing. Thanks to advancements in veterinary care, today's cats can live well into their teen years.

I took my cat, Samson, in for his yearly exam and I also suspected he may be diabetic. He is a long haired cat and for the first time in his 8 year life his undercoat was very matted. He doesn't tolerate being brushed. He was in quite a pitiful state. They were able to shave the areas where he was matted without sedating him and he can be rather feisty. He also turned out to be diabetic. Because of Covid it's curbside only when you arrive and wait. The techs that came to and from my car to get Samson were so kind and gentle. They patiently let me relay all the concerns I wanted the vet

This is the best veterinarian clinic!!!! Dr. Ron has been really helpful to our little baby Terri 🐕. Terri was sick for the last month and a half before we found West Market Veterinarian Clinic. We thought we were losing him. Dr. Ron use his experience to get him better since day one. Today Terri is doing really well, and Dr. Ron is always in touch with us, taking care of his health. His wife is also really nice, and a dedicated veterinarian, and the whole staff is amazing. This is the first time a veterinarian take the time to come to the car and talk to us, now that restrictions don't allow

I have been coming to west market vet for the past 13 years. Ron and Elizabeth are amazing people and really trust them with our pets. I literally drive over 45 minutes just to come here. We recently lost our dog and I’m so grateful for everything we tried and how much they cared. As hard as the process was I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to guide us through this process. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ron and Dr. Elizabeth truly take their time to help your pets be happy and healthy. They explain in detail what is going on with your pet when there is an issue, how the medicine (if prescribed) will help the problem, and they even call to check on your pet. We are lucky to have our pets in their care.

I recently purchased a new Fur Baby to add to our family. I remember calling different vets and said if I had to choose I will go here. The best decision ever. I love their staff. Dr. Elizabeth and Ronald Murray are awesome. They are very knowledgeable and Karter loves them and the staff is awesome. I highly recommend this vet especially for first time owners as myself. I have absolutely no clue about puppies/dog but they have helped me so much especially with providing me knowledgeable on what to feed and not feed him. Vitamins and making sure he's up to date on vaccines

Great local vet. They are kind, knowledgeable, and explain everything in simple terms. They also are there to help the animals, not make money with needless tests or meds. I very much trust them with both of my dogs, and have only had pleasant experiences. If you are looking for a vet, go here.

This is the best veterinarian to which I have ever been! Top care by professionals and staff who love all animals. Very knowledgeable, take time to explain everything and answer questions. When my one cat got sick on a Saturday, I took him to the 24 hr vet ER. I waited 4 hours for them to see my cat and paid almost $200 for the wrong diagnosis and ineffective medicine. I took him to West Market and they were able to get him happy and healthy again (with no wait time and less money)! And they ALWAYS do follow-up phone calls to ensure your pet is getting better! I trust this business and will continue

I currently have one sick kitty on my hands that I recently adopted. I was lucky enough to run into West Market Veterinary Hospital after the other animal hospital that I was currently using was closed due to weather. Long story short they won me over. Elizabeth showed so much empathy towards both me and my new kitten and has given me the knowledge and tools to care for my little guy. Elizabeth even called me on a Sunday to see how he was progressing, how sweet! We're currently going back to see her today as he stopped eating (which she explained might would happen) but I know he's going

I have been taking my dogs to West Market Veterinary for over 20 years now. Doctor Rob and Elizabeth are great. In the past year my dog has gotten stung by bees really bad twice and I have had to rush to get in her. Both times they dropped everything and made sure my dog was ok. They are amazing vets! I recommend them to everyone I know!

She seemed to be losing weight and Dr. Elizabeth was able to give me different treatment options for her recent diagnosis of a condtion known as hyperthyriodism. I was so pleased with the knowledge of the staff and the cleanlieness of the facilty. I know vet bills can rack up but West Market Vet was very afforable and gave me accurate pricing before any test was done! Dr. Elizabeth was so patient and honest with me. She

My dog started suffering from a terrible UTI last Thursday night. I had to work on Friday and needed an earlier appointment. I wasn't able to get in with the veterinarian we have seen before in time for me to make it to work. I called West Market Veterinarian Hospital and spoke with such a kind woman who set up an appointment right away. The relief vet was on duty and super friendly! All the staff was! I was given helpful antibiotics for my pup. Everyone was wonderful! My only complaint is the sales pitch about an expensive food that is suppose to target your pets ailment of the day. That

Good experience: as a new patient, my cats' first exams were free. The staff was competent and professional. The vet was personable and happy to explain things. My cats' still hated it, but what do they know! Anyway, they came out of it with a clean bill of health. This clinic also offers grooming and boarding services.
