My daughter goes to school in Edwardsville and her alternator went out on a Friday night. I'm 3 hours away and Mark had her car back on the road the next day even though he told me he didn't think he be able to get to it until Monday. I highly recommend Mark Muffler I'll be using him again if needed.

They are always great. I called in wanting to upgrade my exhaust on my f-150…they set an expectation on when they could have it done. They upgraded my exhaust system by late afternoon same day with no notice prior and did an amazing job with everything. I recommend everyone I know to them whenever I get the chance.

My daughter is a college student at SIUe. Her car broke down the day before she was to travel 2 1/2 hours back home. Mark Muffler service got her car towed and repaired by Noon the next day. They altered their schedule to ensure her car was serviced. They paid attention to every detail to make sure her car was safe to travel. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

They are amazing! I was on a road trip 5 hours away from home, and I had a wheel bearing fail on me driving down the interstate. I had my kids and my dogs in the car. They were understaffed, but were still able to get me back on the road quickly. I cant thank them enough for their kindness!

Have an older vehicle, and needed the brake lines replaced. Mark took me even though my particular make/model can be a pain to deal with (my opinion and also opinion of a mechanic friend), and other shops might be reluctant. Fixed a few other things on it as well, and explained everything to me. Received my confirmation before doing any work, which I appreciated.

I found Mark through Google after having a tough time with another shop. Had my car towed to him with the hopes of a timely repair. He exceeded my expectations exponentially!! He had all my brake lines and a new converter done in less than 2 days. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. Hands down the best mechanic I've used.

Mark's Muffler Shop has amazing service and they really know what they are doing! The workers are trustworthy people and really try their best to make sure you are happy with your service. If you ever have car problems, this is a great place to go to.

I was on a cross country road trip when my car suddenly started making a constant noise/vibration so I looked for a well-reviewed shop online before settling on Mark's shop. They smoothly and quickly took my car out for a test drive before putting it on the lifters and discovered the resonator was rusted out and cracked open. The fix ended up being a simple change out which was done in quick fashion for a mere $140 parts/labor. If you're passing through the area while on a long distance road trip and feel some trouble, come here and they'll be sure to please!

Mark and Marty are two cool dudes (they're brothers) We've taken many a vehicle to them for everything from oil changes, to brakes, to tires, etc. Their prices are fair, workmanship is outstanding and the service is exceptional. We trust their opinions and if they can tell you a less expensive option, they will. It's difficult to find trustworthy mechanics but Mark Muffler fits the bill.

I I called them around 11:30am & they let me know i could come in by 1pm. I arrived at 12:45pm & i left at 1:30pm with my car fully repaired. I came here after getting a $400 quote (and they said it would take about 3 hours) from another auto shop.My father thought was outrageous for the small repair i needed & it turned out to be true because Mark Muffler shop only charged me $90.56 & offered me a more permanent solution. Short version of story: my truck was dragging something on the bottom while I was in North St. Louis. It turns out it was the exhaust system, including the muffler that got dislocated

I wish I could give a negative rating. I too after reading all the positive reviews thought that Mark Muffler would be a sure bet. But, boy were we wrong. We had car towed there after car wouldn't start, the car was dropped off on Friday, on Tuesday we got a call and they are running diagnostics, on Wednesday we are told it was the starter and to pick up car. We pay and are heading out, I proceed to leave with another vehicle and husband gets in the repaired car and notices the brake light is on and wants them to look at, Mark proceed to tell him that the brake line is broken and they don

The most honest, fair repair shop i've ever dealt with. Mark will tell you what you need to repair your car and not try to up sell you on things you don't need. Simple as that!! I guarantee if you have a muffler or brake issue these guys will be the ones to correctly diagnose the problem and charge a fair price and produce quality work. There is a reason they have been in business for many years.

One of the Honest mechanic shop i have ever come across in US. They know what they are doing and they are compassionate. If the work they did is actually less than what they quoted for, they would reduce the price ( which we would never know) they are honest.

Why does a catalytic converter fail again? Thought we'd fixed the seal that was blowing a little radiator fluid through the Grand Prix's exhaust. Not really sure why it happened. Even so, Mark Muffler found a way to give us a 50% credit on the new part when I presented the receipt from 2010. That was awesome. Now, if the catalytic converter would just last for a reasonable length of time.

My dad and I have been taking our cars to Mark Muffler for years. Actually, that should say it all for the review; returning to the same mechanics for years means they're doing it right!

Mark Muffler is always professional, friendly, and willing to work around your schedule. They have continuously done an excellent job with whatever I have brought my car in for. They even installed my new headlight units, though that is not necessarily what they do. They are fair in price and my final bill has often been less than their original estimate.
