Repose Massage Therapy

I purchased two massages from here through Amazon Local. I have called and left several messages to schedule our massages and she has not even had the decency to call me back. Now that I found these reviews I realize I have been scammed. I am going to contact Amazon Local and get my money back from this thief. I doubt she ever had the intention of giving me the massages I paid for already! Will NEVER buy a massage from her again!

This experience has taught me to ALWAYS check yelp BEFORE buying a groupon-type deal, even if it seems like a good deal.

Like other reviewers, I was asked to come to her house in Watertown, which I actually didn't mind since that was more convenient for me. The room itself was too cold, though she was good about keeping me covered except for the part she was massaging. The music she put on was nice but it kept skipping, which was wicked distracting. I don't usually write yelp reviews, but this was so egregious I had to warn others. Bought 2 buywithme vouchers. Before I ever had a chance to use even 1, when I called Melissa claimed that at least 1 of the vouchers had been used already. How is that possible that someone could match the long string of identifier #s/letters? Seriously? And I would remember going in! We started emailing to set up an appointment and
found a convenient time. However, I emailed back confirming and didn't
hear back from a week, PAST the appointment time (this was after many emails
and phone calls). This was a bit frustrating and I was just told she had
misunderstood. Ok.

We finally set up another time at her Watertown
location (she said she had recently moved and was only in Boston on Wednesdays).
This was fine by me as I was driving and she said parking was available
at the Watertown location.

What she didn't tell

I also had an appointment with Melissa and stood outside her office for a half hour knocking and calling her on the phone. No response to my calls or e-mails. Do not waste your time waiting for someone who does not have the decency to cancel an appointment or to answer her phone calls or e-mails. There are too many reliable massage therapists in Boston to be wasting your time waiting for someone who does not show up!

I had the similar experience of the other reviewer. I booked the appointment almost a month in advance, so a few days before the scheduled date I called to verify the time and received a call back verifying my 1:30 appointment for the upcoming Saturday.

Don't waste your money saving with a discount from buy with me. I had an eversave and had called before purchasing to make sure I could be seen. I used my Weforia coupon here and was very pleased with my experience. I think Melissa was very friendly and warm and genuine. And most importantly, her massage was outstanding.

The massage table and room are not as super fancy as say, a spa, but none of that matters to me, especially if my massage is top notch. Melissa was very responsive to my request to do mostly leg work. I liked how she really seemed to know what I wanted, without me having to ask. She was amazing in how she worked the various muscle groups, and was receptive to the request before we began to do more "kneading"

I've had body work for years, and Melissa is the tops. She also has a nice calming energy about her.
