Dr. Mohammed received a Bachelor of Science in animal science from Cornell University in 1999. She then spent the next four years teaching everything from 6th grade math to 1st grade drama before returning to the cold winters of Ithaca, NY and obtaining her DVM from Cornell in 2007. After that Dr. Mohammed did a one-year small animal internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey and stayed on for an additional year as a staff doctor.

Pets, just like people, become more prone to chronic conditions (such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and liver disease) as they age, so bloodwork every six months is helpful for spotting illnesses that are developing beneath the surface.We can't always reverse a condition in an older pet, but an early diagnosis will give us the best chance of slowing the progression.

I don't think I could've found a better clinic for my fearful, untrusting dog. They are WONDERFUL with him, as he came to me with some issues. They are so patient and are able to get everything done that needs to be done with him. They always go over what he needs or doesn't necessarily need to be done at that time, and explains the costs beforehand. I couldn't be more pleased with everybody at this clinic!!

Allandale Veterinary is lovely. The experience I have is they take care of you and they take care of your best buddy. I'm happy to report they have lots of ways to help keep your best buddy calm and okay which helps you stay calm and okay. Super empathy and good communication skills. We love them! Been a client since 2011.

We’ve been taking our various cats to Allandale for about 25 years now, and have always received thoughtful and attentive care. They are professional, caring, and supportive. They have helped with many serious illnesses and, when it was time, crossings over the rainbow bridge. They have helped our kitties lead proactive, healthy lives. Highly recommended.

Love this clinic. Honest, upfront, and of course the most important part is that they clearly do the best to take care of my fur babies. I had one of my cats go in for a dental procedure, and the staff and veterinarian put my mind at ease throughout the procedure. The veterinarian called me multiple times throughout the procedure to keep me up to date and was very patient with my questions. My kitty got home safe and sound, the most important part! This might be a slightly more expensive veterinarian office, but my furry children are worth it. You get what you pay for in this case.

This has been my vet clinic for over a decade. During Covid I have adopted three of my foster cats. On top of my new additions, I have also had visits for my other animals. I wanted to make a review to say how impressed I am with the clinic during this chaotic time. I’m glad they are taking precautions to keep everyone safe and I’m so glad they are still there for friendly, caring service.

I’ve been bringing all my dogs here for the last seven years. Quality and caring care is delivered each and every time. I travel around the country for work and live in different cities and make this office my number one for puppy care. There are many choices and I choose this clinic because of the quality that is delivered here consistently and without fluff.
