I've been taking our cats here for several years for check-ups, dental work, and minor surgery. Always positive experiences and good care. And at a very reasonable price compared to some other practices. FLAC is a gem. I have been using this office for a long time.
I go way back to when Dr K used to make farm calls for large animals.
I really like the new owner Dr Small and his associate Dr Mac.
The staff has always been friendly and courteous. My pets well being is always addressed and all my questions and concerns are answered with professionalism.
I highly recommend this office if you are looking for a great small animal practice.

I can’t begin to tell you how much I love the attention my dog and I get from this clinic. I wish my primary care physician was this concerned and attentive. Dr. Mac has been a lifesaver and I could never repay him for the care my Bella has received from him. Truly the very best in my experiences with veterinarians.

I have a diabetic 15 year old cat, Dr. Griffin is the man! He saved my 15 year old diabetic cats life when he had a blockage in his bladder. Sent him him with rx urinary tract health food and 2 rx meds. If it wasn't for Dr. Griffin, Nibbles wouldn't be here today!
Friendly staff, clean clinic and nice employees who really love animals!

Overall Forest Lakes has never disappointed. I have been going to them for 4 years now and have zero intentions of making a change any time soon.
I have seen Dr. Griffin twice now. Once for a wellness exam for my two new kittens and the second time for when my two older cats were not feeling well. It is clear he cares about your pets from the second he steps in the room. He has a very calm demeanor that emanates throughout the room not only to your pets but to the pet owners. He takes the time to do exams, on even the most difficult of pets, to make sure nothing is missed. He explains things in

Was referred by a close friend who got their pets international travel health certificates here. I need one now and called. Got the impression that since I wasn't a current client they couldn't be bothered. Told me to call a pet shipping company for advice over the phone. I even just received an email from my friend about how great this place was and it was easy to get the certificate... No reason given for why they wouldn't do it.

Took my Chihuahua to this clinic for the first time for an intestinal issue during height of Covid. Was very pleased with how quickly we were fit in and with the care, kindness and professionalism the vet and his staff exhibited toward my dog and me. The price was not unreasonable. Will keep this clinic for his routine care from this point forward.

Having a SERVICE ANIMAL(s) today is a challenge but not for this team. The Doctor's, Nurses, and Staff know that compassion COMES before a price. They are willing to go above and beyond what it takes to do their job with the ethics in which they were trained without credit cards being more important than the animals life.
When did it ever become morally ethical to treat any animal like a commodity in the Animal Kingdom?
My KUDO's go to a Doctor and a staff well trained at Forest Lakes Animal Clinic for their compassion and just doing their job, just really, really well!!

We love Dr. Small and his staff. His office is a drive 20 minutes away from my home. I called his office with my Shih Tzu - General Ming was very sick. His office said -no problem drop everything and come to his office now. Sadly we had to put him down. The staff are wonderful to us during this difficult time. It is so wonderful they helped us in our hour in need when I was turned away from my local vet which is down the street from where I live. Dr. Small and his staff never let me down where my other vet I just fired.

Dr. Small and his amazing staff have been taking care of our almost 100lb furry baby for almost 12 years...if you're looking for a caring Vet and a friendly staff that goes out of their way to make your furry baby feel loved, you'll find it with this wonderful team! Our boy has a strong personality and most are afraid of him, but he turns into a big teddy bear with them! Thanks Dr. Small and staff for all you do for my baby!

My family have been going to this clinic for about 18 yrs.
the longtime vet that owned and operated this clinic was compassionate with the animals AND their humans.
Since this place changed hands , among other things, its no longer a value.
These people, Dr Small seem to ONLY care about getting as much money from you no matter what.
He suggested i put my 14 yr old shihtzu mix under anaestesia so he could clean the couple of teeth she has left. He agreed that it would be a risk , so why suggest it? MONEY.
my other dog received a simple antibiotic treatment not 4 months ago.
they want a visitation

Dr. Small has been taking care of all our dogs for over 20 years and we have had as many as 3 dogs at one time (we have a difficult time saying "no"). Every one has adored Dr. Small and considered a trip to his office a positive adventure. He is the best, most knowledgable, and most caring vet we have ever encountered. We recommend him to all our dog-loving friends. His staff is a big plus!

I have never been so horrified at a vet appointment in my entire life. We came in for a rabies and distemper vaccination. The first amongst many problems, the vet "accidentally" gave him a bordetella shot.....which our dog had already received 4 months prior. The vet didn't realize he had given the wrong shot until AFTER he had already administered it. He then felt justified in making a joke that we got a "free shot" today and considered it a laughable mistake. My dogs health is more important to me than a "free shot". Then, this vet proceeds to tell us how horrific

I took my animals to Dr. K. This new doctor, Dr. Small that bought Dr. K's practice is a price gauger. It is laughable to call and hear their quotes.
Eight years ago, I used Dr. K and even on my lower salary eight years ago he was affordable. Aside from money, I could tell that Dr. K. genuinely cared for the well-being of animals. When I was with Dr. K, I called with a concern that my dog got into poison. I explained that the dog had vomited and what the poison was. They gave me directions over the phone for free. The dog was absolutely fine. Nowadays, I sincerely believe that Dr. Small

After years of being a customer bringing my dog to this clinic, since Dr Small took over the business, its been a nightmare. The office staff are slow & incompetent. If you call the clinic you will be on hold a long time. They dont care about your pet, just your money. My dog had an ear infection & the vet examined him, then prescribed a $50. Ointment. I bought a $25 ointment since i already spent 100. They price gouge you!
A few days later I receive a letter in the mail saying since if Im unhappy with the prices, they will no longer care for my dog.

We've been taking our pets to Dr. Small for years. He and his staff are absolutely wonderful and provide such good care to our fur babies. He treated our greyhound for his bone cancer and the kindness and compassion was incredible. Dr. Small is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things thoroughly so you can make the best decision for your pet's health.

This place could care less about your animals. They would sooner turn you away and have your animal die instead of helping you. I brought my cat there because he had bladder stones and was very sick. They lady at the front desk was very rude and turned me away because I didn't have an appointment and they weren't accepting any new clients. How heartless is that, that they just couldn't make an exception knowing that my cat could die without treatment. I wasn't looking to become a permanent patient. I just needed help for my animal and they were too heartless to do that. Thankfully
