Our hospital was founded in 1986 by Dr. Orlando Garza with the ultimate goal of providing compassionate, quality care to the El Paso community and surrounding areas. With many ranches and large animals in our rural areas, Dr. Garza decided to also extend his practice to include farm-calls and mobile vaccination clinics.
The current facility was built in 2015 to include a large and comfortable waiting room with children's play area, 5 treatment rooms and 2 surgical rooms. We offer boarding services with various sized runs and cages for smaller breeds. The hospital is also home to Grammie's Grooming, a separate entity operating out of our facility for a one-stop-shop convenience to our clients.

Our animals receive great care here. The prices are reasonable. We especially love Dr. Boyer and Dr. R. Ellis. All staff are great about returning messages and calls. The only thing I’d change if I could is the walk-in/no appt setup, but it’s worth dealing with for the great care given to our dogs and cats.

I have taken my animals here for many tears and have always been very happy with the staff, the Vets and the treatment to both myself and my pets. They are patient and answer all my questions with professionalism and truth. Super clean office, they are also taking all the proper Covid-19 precautions. Thank you everyone at EEPAH!

I took my corgi there for a haircut/trim but the way she was given back to be is NOT what I asked for nor did they give me a call to let me know what was gonna happen. Corgis have double coats that are NOT supposed to cut away but these people thought it was a good idea to SHAVE DOWN MY CORGI. Supposedly saying she was “matted” when I know for a fact she definitely was not. To top it off it’s getting very cold so her fur it’s here to keep her nice and warm. If you have a corgi I would suggest not taking them here to get groomed. It’s just gonna end up a waste of money.

I took my dog to the Eastside Animal Clinic he was having a real hard time with a bad rash 7 months without seeing an end to it. He was always in a bad mood and in a bad way as you can see by the pictures that he bit me while trying to load him on the truck he was very sensitive everywhere. Doctor did a complete regiment antibiotics do really work but get ready to pay. Overall they're pretty good hospital respectful professional courteous. Karen's if you see somebody with a dog who has a muzzle don't go off having a tantrum there's always a reason. New photos three weeks after taking medication

Best vet I've been too thus far! Always respectful, they take care of my pups! Today we had a scare when my 4mo Aussie had an allergic reaction to her shots right away they took her in and got her comfortable and gave her the appropriate medication to stop the reaction! The doctor was amazing and very reassuring on our part for getting her in on time!

I will never take ANY of my fur babies anywhere else! We had to rush a kitten in after being attacked by foster puppies. They not only took excellent care of her, but they developed a beautiful love for her... further proving how special our miracle kitty is. She's home and spectacular now and we owe them more than we could ever repay. I love these doctors and the entire staff, they have us so much more than our Nemu back. They restored our faith in humanity. Thank you, isn't enough❤

Dr. Waltzer is the best veterinarian you could ask for. Not only does she understand my fur babies but also understands myself and what I expect. I trust Dr. Waltzer as she truly cares about my babies. I always leave this office with full comprehension of what is wrong with my dogs and how to administer the medication.
As for the hospital itself, another five stars. Friendly staff, very cheap pricing for the quality of the service, and decent wait times. The wait may be long as it is an emergency hospital, but you have the option to wait in your car allowing you and your pet to be more comfortable
