This group left a voicemail, detailing that a client wanted to see the apartment about 2 hours after the initial call. There was not a response to the voicemail from my roommates or me. We did not see that we had a voicemail until after I opened my door to see two complete strangers making their way into my living space. I asked them who they were and why they were here. It was an agent from this reality group. They did not get permission to enter, nor did they give a 24 hour notice. They did not even get a response to the voicemail because we did not see it. I was trying to remember the name of this realty company so I could recommend to a friend and was surprised to see all of the negative comments listed here. We found our apartment 3 years ago through City Central Realty after reaching out to them due to a listing on craigslist. As others mentioned, that particular unit was no longer available, but Geri showed us a number of different apartments that fit our price range and general neighborhood. While not all of the units we saw were to our liking and quite a few were extremely unclean and unappealing. One noteworthy unit fit our requirements but

Horrible experience. Broker (Paul) forged my signature on a document. He also lost one of my checks and then threatened not to give me the keys to my new apartment (one day before I was supposed to pick them up and move in) until I sent him a copy of the check (which I had already given him). He made everything more stressful and complicated than it should have been.

Paul Phillips was our realtor at CCR and he helped us find a place in no time. We did have to call to follow up with him after a couple weeks of not hearing back, but overall he was attentive and easy to get a hold of. He even helped us out when we needed assistance after we rented and signed a lease.

CCR has both shown us apartments and shown our apartment.
Gerry, the woman who showed our apartment periodically, was never on time. She also left our front door unlocked once.
Hai who showed me apartments was very nice. All the apartments he showed me were not nice. They were mostly all on comm ave and they were dirty and quite small.
These apartments were not just dirty because of the people who lived there, these were dirty because of poor long term upkeep and lack of updating.
When we got back to office I tried to tell him a little more of what I expected in an apartment and I was made

Avoid working with City Central Realty at all costs. I've been on both sides of their antics and they simply bring nothing to the table.
I looked at apartments with them and found the agent I worked with to be so rude I could hardly wait for the apartment to be over. We would enter apartments that did not match any of my search criteria, but the agent we extremely unprepared. We awkwardly walked into apartments with sleeping tenants in them and he drove me aimlessly around the city looking for missing keys at other offices.
Lastly, I happen to now live in an apartment which is being shown

What started out as a possible 5 start review sadly turns into a 3 star due to a lack of followup from this agency.
At first our agent was very efficient. We called about seeing an apt. he had listed and he showed us this unit and several others in our price range and desired location. Once we found a unit we liked, one thing that was uncomfortable is that the agent kept talking to us in jargon: I would ask what he would need from us and he would say things like 'I need you to sign some disclosures and documents' but he was very mysterious as to what these disclosures where! If I could give a zero star I would give it to these Realtors. This is one of the worst places to go! The agents are pushy, unprofessional and yell at customers. They claim that they are a professional unit but they talk trash in front of the clients. They make you fill out a whole bunch of questions claiming to get good apartments but they show you places which are rat infested and smell horrible.

TERRIBLE!
First, our Realtor lied to us about the fee saying it was half when it was actually full. By the time he told us, we had already put in the application. Then, he lied to us saying animals were allowed in the space. He also pressured us to lie to our future landlord and say we did not have a pet. The landlord contacted me confirming I did not have an animal. I corrected him and said I do, and we lost the apartment.
The worst part, is that my check for the deposit had already been cashed!
I had to call a bunch of times to get a hold of someone who could help

My experience with City Central Realty was amazing! S helped me and my three other friends on the first available date we could all go out. We had a great time and found our apartment right away. S was fun and helpful. She even went back out with us on the same day to show another friend all the same apartments over again. She didn't use any ploys you would normally get from a Realtor like showing us only places at our max price range or over. S helped us find a place way below what we said and we're all extremely excited to move in. Like I said we had a great time and I've already

I'd give City Central 2.5 stars if I could. I really haven't experienced better, because in my opinion 2 out of 2 realtors that I've gone to in Brighton both left a lot to be desired. But City Central Realty was worlds better than City Realty.
Our realtor, S, was pretty nice, but I swear that she looked up 15 apartments that were emphatically not what we (my boyfriend and I) wanted, and then showed us one awesome place, and knew we'd settle for the one awesome place. (We did, and we love the place, even though it has its faults.)

We loved our realtor here! He was professional and he went out of his way to find an apartment that fit our needs. He was knowledgable, honest and flexible and guided my roomate and I through the entire rental process. He found us a great apartment in a great area in our price range which wasn't exactly high. My roomate and I were impressed with his professionalism and will use CCR in the future!
