Once you have completed an Introductory class in the pole or aerial field of choice, you can move on to these classes. Classes, class time, and schedules are subject to change. No-shows and class cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled class will be charged $20.00. Class begins exactly on time so late-comers will not be permitted once class commences.
A: Pole dancing is an artform and exercise in which a dancer performs acrobatic moves on a fixed metal pole that is used to support them, and as an instrument upon which to move their bodies. A: The pole is very safe. It is a vertical metal instrument that is securely attached to both the floor and ceiling.
Free Street parking available on Morgan or 21st Street, City of Chicago meter parking on Canalport or Free Lot parking available. Lacuna Lofts has partnered with ParqEx to provide easy access to the parking facility at the property. With ParqEx, you'll soon be able to book your monthly or short term parking from your smartphone and operate the gate arm, to enter or exit the property, via the "Property Access+" functionality in the ParqEx app.

Celebrated my birthday here with my girls and it was incredible. First and foremost, they were extremely flexible with accommodating my party and any last minute changes. The experience itself was truly empowering for women where you learn more about your body and how to appreciate yourself a little extra!! Highly recommend for anyone trying to push themselves out of their comfort zone to try something new. The staff is extremely welcoming, and if you're a little nervous, you will forget all about it as soon as you enter those doors!

Everything about coming here makes you feel motivated & good about yourself. The environment & people are highly calming & relaxing. The instructors really take their time with you & don't make you feel uncomfortable or like you're behind . There's no such thing as being behind, everyone is on their own level! Haven't been in a very long time but I miss every aspect about this wonderful studio. Can't wait to start building my muscle back up! Muscle memory is pretty amazing when it comes to dance moves and tricks !! 😍🙏🏽

I can’t express how much I love this place. Francesca really does care about her clients as well as every employee there! They go out of their way to make a clean, professional, and fun atmosphere! The instructors are all great, but I work with Jen for Lyra classes and she is exceptional.

Booked a pole dance class for a bachelorette party and had an awesome time! They got some great photos and videos for us and made the whole experience so much fun. Francesca was friendly, fun, and made the event special. She was a great partner in planning the event. It was truly memorable. Unika was our teacher and she was amazing. I took an intro to pole class here a few months back and I've been meaning to write a review. I'm a professional dancer and was out of town for the weekend on a gig, and was stuck on a train coming back that kept experiencing delays. I called the business about three hours before my class and explained the situation and asked what their cancellation/rescheduling policy was. I first took classes while living in Philadelphia, loved it so much that I ended up buying my own hammock to put in my home...
But that was 16 foot high ceilings ago.
I moved back to Chicago and tried a few classes here and there, Man was it rough!!! Went to another studio in Lincoln Park which had hammocks that just about knocked my friend and I out, just from the funk/smell.
Needless to say, first and last visit there.
Tried others with not much luck there either. That is until FEMPRESS. Plenty of parking

I hate going to the gym but FEMPRESS makes working out so much fun! The staff has been more than helpful and they sell accessories to make pole classes more comfortable if you're afraid of making boo boos like myself. I'm on my first package but I will definitely keep renewing. Looking forward to graduating to hammocks next!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! Booked for a bachelorette party which my friends and I kept talking about throughout the weekend! All the ladies who helped with class brought a great energy that helped keep us motivated and pushed us out of our comfort zones. Left feeling empowered and ready to come back again! We have a bunch of great memories as well since our package included so many photos taken throughout the class. Five starts for Femrpess Fit! A group of 14 ladies were lucky to take the private class Twerk and Twerl with Unica, who is an awesome instructor. She led a great warmup with a couple across the floor exercises to practice the basic twerk moves. We then worked on a learning a short twerk/pole combination routine the rest of the time. She had a great playlist, and was very attentive to making sure everyone felt comfortable, had fun, and learned! Francesca, the owner, was so fun to have in the room with us taking pictures and videos and cheering us on. She even took us to the rooftop before the class

Had my first class here a few weeks ago and it was so much fun! The location is really cool and the owner Francesca made sure our group got some amazing photos on the roof patio. The instructors are very kind and supportive and made all of us feel really comfortable, which was really appreciated as I'm not a great dancer and this was definitely out of my comfort zone. Will definitely go back!

Came here for a ladies night group class and really loved it. The building alone is worth a visit- completely rehabed artist spaces and home to a lot of small businesses, plus there is an awesome view of the skyline from the roof (our instructor took us for a group photo.)
But the dance class itself was awesome. The instructors we're inspiring and really cared that our group had a good time. All of us were letting our sexy flags fly by the end of this class- such a fun way to get moving while trying something new. Highly recommend for groups or individuals who want a safe, clean, inspiring

We were celebrating a bachelorette party at FEMPRESS. Originally, I was not looking forward to our pole dancing and lap dancing class because it is a little out of my comfort zone. Let me just tell you, FEMPRESS did an amazing job of making all of us feel comfortable. Our instructor was absolutely amazing. We had the instructor from Brazil. Let me say I loathe going to the gym until I came to Fempress! I was fortunate to find the studio on Yelp after learning about aerial yoga(hammacks). I have been taking the intro to aerial(hammock) class for 6 weeks I am hooked. Jacque my instructor is amazing! She is supportive and is excellent at providing instructions to students of all sizes! I really feel empowered when I am in my class. In my first class I could barely put my foot into the hammock. Now, with a good warm up I am in there!

Had the BEST time at FEMPRESS Fit for the "Good Girl Gone Bride" bachelorette party! The staff were so enthusiastic, friendly, passionate, and sooooo talented! They made me and my friends feel like celebrities documenting everything from start to end of party! The class was amazing and Daisy (instructor) was phenomenal breaking us all out of our shell. Francesca, the owner, was amazing to work with and coordinate this event. She was so prompt in communicating and such a wonderful person. I 100% recommend this place for any party or class they offer! I will be going back!

I went to 4 classes at Fempress Fit when I was visiting Chicago and it was a great experience. Everyone was very welcoming and supportive.
I especially enjoyed taking class with Francesca, the owner. She really pushed us and I was able to do a new move on pole that I didn't think I was capable of doing.
The studio is really nicely set up and all the instructors were very friendly and knowledgeable. I hope to come here again next time I'm in Chicago!

My daughter treated me to a private class here for my birthday. It was a complete surprise that did not disappoint. The owner and instructor is completely fabulous. She is beautiful inside and out. She is friendly and professional while being able to make you comfortable with the activity.
I had never done any hooping or pole work. It wasn't easy but it was fun. I got just enough exercise to let me know I am in need of more daily activity. Haha!
I do not live in Chicago so I have not been back yet. I'm so far away in Nevada. Booooo! I will certainly schedule another session
