We brought in a cat that we presumed was abandoned after he began showing up around our home a couple months ago. We were able to capture him one morning, and the staff at Barbour Lane Animal Hospital graciously worked us in without an appointment to get him checked out immediately. Dr. O’Grady, along with VetTech Allison checked him over and gave him the appropriate treatments and vaccinations. Everyone was kind, courteous and professional. We really appreciate the care and concern shown for both us and the cat, who now has a better chance for a long and happy life as someone’s loving pet

We use to live near Barbour Lane Animal Hospital and since leaving the area we have not been able to find a place we feel comfortable with leaving our precious boxer/mix whos a rescue we adopted some years ago. We are very protective about where we board him because we know him so well, he lets us know that this hospital took great care of him the five days we were away. We absolutely love Barbour Lane Animal Hospital and appreciate the staff for taking excellent care of our pet. 💚

Our initial visit to the Barbour Lane Animal Hospital could not have been better. Every staff member was thoughtful and kind to our new-to-us geriatric dog, Jack. Dr. Townsend spent an entire hour evaluating Jack, explaining his conditions and running tests on his new patient. Just 24 hours after our visit, we received a phone call letting us… know that Jack has parasites. We were urged to start treatment immediately and the practice provided the medication along with scheduling a post-treatment recheck. It has been 20 years since we were owned by a dog. We are very grateful to our neighbors

Dr. Townsend and the team at Barbour Lane Animal Hospital are simply amazing. I can't recommend them enough. My dog has some chronic health issues and was recently diagnosed with heartworm disease. The treatment was scary at first. But, Dr. Townsend cared for my dog like a member of his own family. I trust them 100% and I can't imagine going to any other Veterinarian

We take our dog here for grooming, usually with Sam. Sam is so great with our dog! She always does a phenomenal job and is also so kind and caring. She wants to make sure she gives him the grooming we’d prefer, and always delivers.

We've taken our animals here for years. They have always been so professional, honest and kind, from Dr's to the staff. We recently had to put 2 older dogs down. It was a very emotion experience, Dr O'Grady and Dr Townsend walked us through the whole process and were very supportive. Definitely would recommend this veterinary practice.

We are so thankful to have vets and vet techs we trust taking care of our big guy, Moose. Barbour Lane has been nothing but fantastic caring for Moose and making us feel informed and reassured any time he is in their care. They have worked him in when appointments are all booked. They have called numerous times to discuss any questions. Their prices are very reasonable. And their staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable. Moose is our family and I feel so relieved knowing our vet’s office treats him like family as well. We appreciate you guys so much!

I have to give a huge shoutout to them! If your vet is unresponsive it’s time to find one that cares! My snowflake started choking for unknown reason and heaving trouble breathing! I took him in and they got… us in right away a piece of his bully stick got caught behind his palette he is ok. With him being an ESA dog I got scared and rushed him over! Highly recommend them to everyone! Thank you for caring about my snowflake!

I had originally given them a five-star rating because they actually did save my dog from the effects of a drug allergy created by a previous vet. But, I took this same dog to them for teeth cleaning and extractions and asked prior to doing this whether he had mouth cancer. They said they could do a test for an additional $108 to determine if it was mouth cancer. Since the cleaning and extraction was going to be about $800 I did not want to add another $100 to an amount I already could not really afford. I would have thought a vet would be able to recognize what mouth cancer looks like she did

We discovered Barbour Lane just a few months before our Jenny died. She was the best dog we’ve ever had, which is really high praise because we’ve been blessed with some really good ones. We took them all camping and canoeing during our 34 years of being married, with dogs. It’s regrettable we didn’t discover them when Jenny was younger. I… guarantee she wishes it! I wish her littermate sister Abby and the other dogs we’ve had could have gotten the kind of care that Jenny got in her final few months.

This was my first visit after having a horrible experience with another vet. I was incredibly impressed by the love and compassion the Vet Tech and Dr. Townsend showed for my fur baby. The exam was completely thorough and Dr. Townsend took extra time in explaining tests, treatment etc. He even called me on Saturday to give me the results from a test. I would highly recommend Barbour Lane Animal Hospital.
