Ringer Center
The complete name of our facility is "The Marguerite Burke Ringer Mental Health Center." We offer outpatient services only. Our clients come to see us because they are not enjoying their lives as they might. We commonly treat people for depression, anxiety, stress related problems, family problems, attention deficit and substance abuse.

The first session with us is an evaluation and assessment process that helps us make a plan for success. We offer individual and family counseling. Although our primary services are for adults, we are qualified and skilled at treating adolescents and some children over the age of five. We are licensed by the state of NC to provide DWI assessments.

This is actually not my phone (it is broke) my name is Suzanne, and I have to say this program has saved me! I had to come for dui in 2017. I stayed sober for a while, BUT finally got tired of living the way I was! Isolation, shame, no control, so I decided to return on my own and Steven Don and Dr Saddler has me for the FIRST time in 10 years 35 days sober today! They educate so much, stress out it’s a disease, it is not something we wake up and say “let’s ruin our relationships, jobs and lives” please let them help you! They have changed mine. Sorry again had to do under my sisters phone

This review is for the administration staff. I don’t believe they handle people the right way. When Dealing with people who are trying to get help with their mental health you have to be personable and understanding. I do enjoy meeting with my therapist as well as the doctor but they are contracted through else where and it shows. Thanks to them I will continue to go. Dealing with the staff is just a headache though!

My son went to the center for help for his addiction problem. My daughter brought him, as he was more receptive to her helping him than me. He was in extremely bad shape. After, spending considerable amount of time with him, Mr Ringer was aware he needed more help than an outpatient program could provide. His staff spoke with my daughter and explained this to her. As she was leaving, the receptionist told her that because they were unable to help my son, her money would be refunded to her card. The following day, she called and had some questions regarding what my son was taking (my

One star because the therapist 'tries' to help. And also because I can't give less than one. I advocate for my sister who needs medication management. I spoke to the prescribing doctor ONE time in November about why she was changing a medication she had recently begun, and seemed to be working, to a new one that after 3 months has given her no improvement. Additional meds were prescribed on top of the new one. Insurance no longer covered the new Rx so she was finally put back on the med that we saw improvement when she took it. Two weeks on it (with huge improvement) the prescribing

My uncle recently graduated from the ringer center, I cannot help but thank this generous staff for their commitment to his health and well-being.
My family made the tough decision to have a sit down with him after a tragic accident (involving alcohol) following a nearly 15 year bout, shortly thereafter, we admitted him to the ringer center. Thankfully, the ringer family was able to bring him back to his roots, and guide him back to clairvoyance. I never write reviews, but this one was well worth it.
Thank you! Keep up the good work!

I first came to the Ringer Center after a long search for better mental health services. After bouncing around between providers, I've finally found the support I was looking for. The staff and facilities are both welcoming and impressive. I will continue to recommend the Ringer Center to anyone looking for support.

This place has completely changed my life. I've been to a few unprofessional places in the past and it made me hesitant to seek help elsewhere. But I'm SO glad I did bc it's been incredible! In just 4 months I transformed from the miserable, depressed, puddle of a person that ooze in there on my first day, into someone I haven't seen or thought existed for the past 10 years.
Highly recommend Tara! She spits gems at me every session and is extremely professional! I've gone once a week for almost a year now- that's how much I need her in my life!

I was referred there by my insurance company for anxiety issues. I arrived on time and then sat forever in a hideous waiting room. I waited so long I considered walking out. Finally I was called back and met with Stephen Ringer. At first the conversation went well, but when he asked if I ever drank and I informed him that I did moderately, he insisted I enter a rehab program and agree to abstain from all alcohol, even though that wasn't even why I went there. When I challenged him on this, he became short tempered, told me this wasn't going to work, and he asked me to leave. It was a
