The team at Griffith Small Animal Hospital believes in a simple philosophy: caring for you and your pet like you are family. Because to us, you are. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Dr. Robert Griffith is a 1982 graduate of Colorado State University. He was the recipient of the Upjohn Award for proficiency in veterinary clinical medicine.
Your pet's behavior affects every interaction you have with him or her on a daily basis. Behavior dictates everything from meal time, to exercise time, to downtime such as relaxing on the couch with other family members. When a pet has a behavior problem, the consequences are far-reaching. Behavior problems threaten the bond you have with your pet by damaging the loving relationship that should exist between you.
Excellence, In Everything AAHA is an organization that accredits veterinary hospitals by a simple standard: excellence in everything they do. This is a voluntary practice for the hospital, and involves the testing and examination of over 900 facets of running a truly world-class veterinary practice.

Best Vets and care providers I’ve ever encountered. Dr. Matt is our vet and he is the best! He has an understanding of animals and their behaviors like I’ve never seen before. He is conservative and doesn’t suggest expensive tests , etc. unless it’s absolutely necessary. The other vets that we’ve worked with when Dr. Matt isn’t available have been fantastic as well. Everyone in the office is kind, professional and extremely helpful. That’s why I am happy to drive 30 minutes to continue using them for my dogs’ vet care.

The staff and doctors at Griffith are great about managing my aging Basset’s declining health while also managing my emotions about the whole situation. It is easy to talk with them about the real value my dog is or isn’t going to get from a particular course of treatment and I know they will advise me well through the end of her life. There is no pressure to spend money on treatments that just keep her around for my own emotional needs and don’t offer her good quality of life, and I appreciate that balance.

We have used Griffith vet hospital for about 30 years. The people they have there, from the ones who greet you to the vets, are always very competent, communicative, and friendly. We have a primary vet, but if she is not available, we don’t hesitate to go to anyone else in the practice. We just know that whoever is there for us will be excellent.

We love that Griffith small animal hospital took really good care of our Loki , while we were out of town. I would totally trust them again with my furr baby! I love that they sent me a picture of Loki . That helped me miss him just a little less. Thank you for taking good care of my Loki!
