Healing Hands Veterinary Hospital
The concept of Healing Hands Veterinary Services has originated fourteen years ago when our founder first began the journey of incorporating Eastern medicine with the standard Western medicine and practices. This allowed us to practice modern veterinary medicine with complementary elements in order to raise our standard of care for our patients.

We love our patients, and we treat your pets as we treat our own. While the majority of our practice handles all routine aspects of veterinary care, we offer some extra special interests including physical rehabilitation and complementary medicine. Limiting our practice to cats and dogs allows us to focus our efforts well on providing the best quality of care for our patients.
Services
Healing Hands Veterinary Hospital is a full service veterinary clinic offering a broad range of care including wellness, routine surgeries, sick visits, and in-house specialist consultations. From our on-site pharmacy, diagnostic laboratory, and doctor-supervised overnight care, we strive to fulfill all your pets needs.
Acupuncture is the use of tiny needles to stimulate a healing process and provide pain relief. Electro-acupuncture also sends electric currents to those areas to stimulate the nerve endings deep inside the tissue below acupressure points. Rather than treating specific diseases as acupuncture does, electro-acupuncture has been shown to work well for chronic pain relief.
Canine and feline rehabilitation is the utilization of physical therapy techniques on dogs and cats. Physical therapy has benefits our human population and now those same techniques are used for our pets. Physical rehabilitation can provide recovery of functions by reducing the complication caused by injury, surgery, neurological dysfunctions, tendonitis, fractures, arthritis, obesity, and many other medical conditions.
Laser Therapy, or photobiomodulation, is the use of specific wavelengths of infra-red light to create therapeutic effects. These effects include improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation, and decreased swelling. We currently use the laser for many conditions, including arthritis, muscular injury, trauma, postoperative care, wound healing, inflammation control, skin infections, and tissue and bone regeneration.
Hydrotherapy for dogs via an aquatic treadmill can be used in the treatment of arthritis, cardiovascular conditions, orthopedic conditions, muscle development, ligament and many other types of injury. The hydrotherapy also helps with general convalescence, obesity, and fitness training. Water in the canine aquatic treadmill creates buoyancy that displaces approximately 40% of body weight.

Dr. Thompson and her team at Healing Hands have been a godsend! 3 months ago my dog was diagnosed with Fibrocartilaginous Embolism (FCE) and I was referred to their practice from MissionVet who originally diagnosed him. We’ve undergone hydro-therapy sessions, acupuncture, and laser therapy and over the course of these past 3 months I’ve seen significant improvement in my dogs mobility and functionality of his hind legs. I wouldn’t have been able to get Comet to where he is without their guidance and support. I specifically want to shout out Sam & Ellie who work with Comet frequently in his

Healing Hands has been the BEST vet hospital we’ve ever been too, and I don’t write reviews often. Starting when we first walked into the front door we knew our dog Apollo was going to be well taken care of. The front desk ladies were So kind, gentle and care individually for each pet! Susie, who brought us into our own room and inquired most questions, very compassionate. Listened to everything we were saying and gave us so many affordable options! Doctor Thompson who was our main vet is the best. She’s professional, educated, compassionate and truly cares about helping your fur baby. She

I think it's wonderful that Dr. Thompson offers the holistic therapies she does and from my few experiences with her, she seems like a fine vet. This review is not about Dr. Thompson's abilities as a vet. It is to warn any low income pet owners to be very careful about missing appointments here. After a family emergency, I mixed up my appointment time, had to reschedule, and was charged $50 on top of the $400 I paid ahead of time for the service. The receptionist who informed me was not at all apologetic, which made a bad situation feel worse. I respect that this is a business, but I would hope

Very happy with the results my Dachshund is getting through acupuncture, laser and water therapy. My guy has IVDD and does experience flare-ups with his back and is in pain. These various therapies as well as medication makes him comfortable and his healing time is reduced. So happy I found this facility.

The groomer Thea did a great job with my fur babies! They looked great and smelled great after their bath and haircut and are even shedding less! She was done in a timely manner too - highly recommend.

Our Yorkie spent one week in the boarding facilities. She must have enjoyed the new accommodations. She has high anxiety issues and normally loses weight in the kennel but this time she didn’t lose weight and was very well adjusted. We feel she received very good care and attention.

It's so hard finding a good, consistent, and caring veterinary hospital. I have been to multiple places and always passed by this place, so glad I finally gave them a chance. Dr. Thompson and her team are amazing! They are consistently professional, kind, and caring towards our babies.
Whenever one of our cats likes to surprise us with a sudden emergency, Healing Hands always manages to squeeze us into their busy schedule. They even work with our busy schedules as well. When we couldn't drop one of our cats off the next morning, they kept him overnight and didn't charge us which was very generous

I love Healing Hands! Their exceptional customer service and outgoing/friendly staff are what we love most. We had gone through four different veterinarians with almost no hope of helping our dachshund. Dr. Thompson was very helpful and honest. She sparked hope in us again! We are very trusting that our dog is getting the best of help here at healing hands! You can see and feel the love the staff has for their job and the animals. I absolutely, one hundred percent recommend this place! ❤️🐾
