Paperjam is a digital print shop, which means that we can print small to medium-sized runs quickly and economically. Booklets are essentially by definition, small books. The booklets we print range in size from 4.25 x 5.5 up to 9 x 12 inches. They can be as simple as merely sheets of paper that are punched and placed in a binder, to more elaborate methods of binding. With Paperjam's hard-copy proof, you won't get any unexpected and costly surprises on an entire print run of booklets that you might get from an on-line printer.

I've worked with Paperjam Press for a few projects now, and everything's gone well. It's nice to support a place in the neighborhood.
Located on a cute section of Fremont, there are only two parking spots out front with additional free street parking nearby.
Though it's a small shop, visibility to the customer area in the front isn't great, so sometimes when they're busy they don't see you right away and you have to speak up.
They've been quick to respond to emails, and have a decent turnaround time regularly, with the option for a ~$25 rush fee for

I'm upping our rating by one star as the owners were kind enough to reach out, apologize and give us a refund. The finished product was pretty good, but our customer service experience was terrible, most of the staff were not nice or very communicative and acted like they were doing us a favor. The cost was twice that of the estimate they gave us and it took forever, much longer than we were led to believe, which threw off the timing of sending out our invites for our wedding reception. This place is amazing! I create a calendar every year of my clients pets (I'm a dog walker/pet sitter) and sell it as part of a fundraiser. This was my first year using PaperJam Press and I will absolutely be using them for all of my future printing needs. The calendars came out beautiful, the process was smooth and they were very patient and understanding with me (I had some issues with my photos being too low resolution etc).

Their customer service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. I stepped into Paperjam without really knowing what I needed. Deb was knowledgeable and patient, explaining the process until I knew exactly what I was ordering. Since then, the staff has been friendly, accommodating, and very good at what they do.

Paperjam Press did an excellent job with our wedding invitations. We had a design picked out for the front side, but really no clue about paper color and weight, font color and size etc., and the folks at Paperjam helped us pick out all of those sorts of details. They also happily printed an example of our top two choices so we could see how each looked and felt (my mom was very concerned about the paper weight!). Excellent communication throughout. They were also fairly speedy at getting everything printed because we had a bit of a self-imposed deadline to get our invites out that we were rushing

I should have read the yelp reviews before I used them but they had been hashtagged on instagram from a reliable vendor and since I like to support family owned businesses I chose them over an online printer. Bad decision.
-Their communication is awful. -They did not follow directions. -There are errors on my envelopes. -They didn't print one of the addresses at all.
-They overcharged me and it took two days to get this corrected.
-I asked the owner to call me and they told me she wasn't in, but when I called back five minutes later she answered the phone and immediately transferred

We had used Paperjam in the past for our wedding invitations and were very pleased with the final product. But we were blown away this past week with their service - there was an unexpected death in our family and Paperjam was able to make the programs for the memorial service in a very tight turnaround while treating us with respect and accommodating our numerous requests. This took a huge weight off our shoulders at such a stressful time. I will absolutely be using them again.

So, I went here to get some business cards printed. I ended up getting Julie to help me with a design as well. While I think this place is a bit overpriced, the amount of money spent there wasn't the/my issue. The people are ok, I guess, to include the woman owner, but just aren't overtly friendly. Also there is a guy who sits behind a big computer in the middle of the store, I was in there 3 times and he didn't smile at me once. Again, I just wouldn't call it a (super) friendly place. So much for your friendly neighborhood print shop.... I went in to see about printing some flyers off, 10 color pages. The employee at the desk was nice but seemed confused about if they could do that or not. When she asked the manager/owner she shook her head and gave me the "I should know better" look. "Is there a digital file?" I told them all I had was a copy and just wanted to run some flyers for my business real quick. So I go back the next year to get the calendar printed, same size and paper choice, and it was literally twice the price. When I asked them about this they just said the cost of paper went up, but I have a hard time believing it doubled in a year. (I'm an artist and I buy paper all the time.) When we got engaged and started the planning process, we knew we wanted a postcard Save the Date and printed invitations. I looked online at some do-it-yourself options and it all seemed overwhelming. Paperjam is in our neighborhood and I liked the idea of keeping our business local so I went in and met with them. I instantly loved Emily and the whole crew. We've worked together over the past 10 months and everything was easy and the items all turned out just beautifully. I had the "brilliant" idea to design the Save the Date postcards for my wedding. Of course, I left it until the last minute and wanted to get them out right away. We called on a Saturday and Myles gave us all the helpful information, how to save the file, color scheme etc. Did a test print at home, sent the file in, and didn't worry about anything excepting showing up before closing time. Myles contacted us a short while later to say that part of the card was not printing correctly. We were already under a deadline but now needed to redesign the card. I'm convinced if

They gave clear instructions of what they needed from me and were great to work with when I went in to check my proofs. We made several adjustments - they offered some great ideas including how to keep costs down and happily incorporated some changes that I suggested.

For years I have ordered our family Christmas cards through the various online card companies (Shutterfly, TinyPrints, Minted, etc.). This year I tried Paperjam Press and will be sure to order from Paperjam from now on. Paperjam's finished product using their regular cardstock was as nice as some of the premium paper offered by competitors. It sounds strange to mention this, but Paperjam's envelopes are above-and-beyond what I've received from other companies. They are made from heavy paper stock and help to make the card even more special.
