Rocky Mountain Mobile Veterinary Clinic started servicing clients in 1998 after Dr. Dugger saw a need to provide an alternative choice to clients that sometimes found difficulties in visiting a traditional clinic. Animals have an uncanny ability to know when a trip in the car doesn't always mean a trip to some place fun.
This can often lead to a battle of wills which causes undue stress for both the pet and the owner. For other pet owners, especially those whom are house-bound or have geriatric pets unable to travel, a trip to a clinic may be impossible. These are the clients for whom Dr. Dugger built this practice and is proudly one of the early practitioners of a mobile vet service.

Services
RMMV offers many of the same services you'll find at a traditional veterinary clinic but without the trip to clinic. RMMV provides comprehensive exams to review and maintain your pet's good health. We discuss behavioral issues, weight management, and mobility. Our goal is to catch diseases early, provide management for existing conditions, and prevent future health issues.
Just like their human counterparts, animals can suffer long-term pain that can often be debilitating lessening their quality of life. While many conditions are easily treated by medication, short-term/long-term side effects, cost, or lifestyle needs often make medication therapy an unattractive solution.
Saying a final "goodbye" to a beloved pet is never easy and often the most difficult decision an owner will make. For some, the decision can be overwhelming leading to intense grief and guilt. Although it is difficult, planning euthanasia for your pet is one of the most responsible, and ultimately, the kindest gesture you can do on behalf of your animal - especially when quality of life is greatly diminished.
Regular dental checkups, along with good dental hygiene, are an important part of maintaining your pet's good health. Periodontal disease, starting with plaque and tartar, is the number one diagnosed medical problem in small animal medicine. Surprisingly, even young animals can show some form of the disease.
Whether from old age, injury, or illness, pain can take a pet from happy and active, to miserable and immobile. Thankfully, there are numerous options that are available to help a dog or cat experiencing pain whether it is chronic or temporary. And like humans, options range from drug therapy, to alternative therapies including acupuncture and laser treatment, to the more traditional approaches of physical therapy, exercise, and massage.
