Batteries typically have a life span of four to six years. Frequent short trips, extended storage time and extreme temperatures - such as we often see in Florida's oven-hot summers - can all lead to a shorter life for your battery. Typically, car and truck batteries have a date code that displays the expected lifespan.
Bring your vehicle to DeBroux Automotive for a full inspection of your brake pads, rotors and all the components of your brake system. The brakes on your car or truck rank among the most important systems keeping you, your family and others safe on the road. In an emergency, properly functioning brakes can make the difference between a close call and an accident.
Escape the Florida heat by making sure your vehicle's A/C system blows cool air to keep you comfortable. Living in Northwest Florida, we know a properly functioning cooling system isn't a mere luxury, it's a downright necessity! We understand how important your A/C is to your driving experience here on the Gulf Coast.
The check engine light, also known as the Malfunction Indicator Lamp or MIL, illuminates when the computer that controls your vehicle's engine detects a problem. This computer constantly monitors the performance of your engine and its related systems. When the computer senses the engine, one of its components or a sensor fails to operate as it should, it records the information and turns the warning light on to alert the driver.

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value
The staff was pleasant to deal with and worked on the vehicle when they said they would. I found them to be trustworthy because I took my SUV in for an oil leak and they fixed it inexpensively. They could have done unnecessary repairs and charged more but didn't.

Rodney and his team at Debroux are incredible to work with. We take all our fleet vehicles to them for routine maintenance as well as problems. They are quick but always fix our problems and we never have to take our vehicles back a second time for the same thing. They are professional, kind, courteous, and practice Christian ethics in their business practices. The use only the best parts available on the market today but their prices are fair and reasonable.

Highly recommend - this is a great repair shop with excellent mechanics and fair pricing for the great work they do. They also are very conveniently located off Davis Highway just north of 10. Most important to me is an owner who is willing to recommend what is in the customer's best interest and not just the service that will make their shop the most money.
Over 30 years, I've owned many vehicles that have surpassed 200k miles. Recently I was considering an expensive ($2k+) repair at their shop on a 15-year old vehicle with over 300k miles. They were willing to do the work with my vehicle already

Took 2014 mustang in because of a noise coming from somewhere in rear, underneath of the car. I suspected sticking caliper or maybe wheel bearing. When told differential was 1/2 quart low of fluid and brakes and seals checked out ok, I had mixed feelings. They told me after road test that the added fluid to rear end solved the noise. Picked up the car and backed up 5 feet and noise was still present. Should have gone in and complained but figured what good would it do. Like throwing good money after bad.

They were wonderful. Did everything I asked, didn't cut corners or try to raise the price unnecessarily. The best mechanics I've been to! Highly recommend them for any auto needs! Very thankful I found them. I'm a college student so my finances are a bit tight, but I had nothing to worry about here. If I need a mechanic again, I will definitely be going here. Also answered all my questions through email, which was super helpful since I couldn't drive my car over to speak in person. 10/10!
